Principal’s Report

Welcome back to Term 4 and it’s good to see everyone return safe and sound.

I would like to thank and congratulate all staff and students who put in a big effort in the last week of Term 3 with the spectacular Night of the Arts performance and our Year 12 Farewell Assembly and luncheon.

Today we start the No Hat No Play rule so please make sure you have a broad brimmed hat to use when out in the sun. The P&C provides plenty of sun screen so please make use of it. We are expec ng many sunny days this term so it is best to be prepared.

This Wednesday we have the Talent Quest that will run in the Town Hall between recess and lunch. The event is open to the community to come and see the performances. Well done to Rafferty Edis for coordina ng the event.

Our HSC students begin their first exams this Thursday star ng with English. We wish them all the best and hope they get plenty of rest during the tes ng period.

Swimming season is also upon us and I would ask all our families to complete the swimming consent note which will be issued in the coming weeks. Swimming is a cri cal skill and the school will be running an Intensive Swimming Program again this year.

Over the break we have had a number of trees removed with iden fied defects. This will

improve the safety of our playground and the school will con nue with ongoing monitoring.
