    The history of the POWER SYSTEMS ENGINEERING dates back to 1845, which saw it as

    a department of the mechanical shop of the Rudolfs Ironwork. Beside the steam boilers,

    there appeared boiler drums, spherical tanks, overhead ball-shaped pressure reservoirs,

    cylindrical pressure vessels, mounded storage tanks, storage tanks with fix or floating

    roofs of 100 m3 to 125,000 m3 in capacity, equipment for blast furnaces and steel works,

    pressure pipelines with branches of up to 8 m in diameter, gate pieces for hydro-electric

    power plants, installations for chemistry, paper and food-stuff industry.

    The mid 70s saw the production expand into the nuclear power engineering, especially like:

    various pressure vessels for active and inactive environments of the nuclear power

    plants

    pressure exchangers ( steam generators) between the primary and secondary circuits

    volume compensators

    low pressure and high pressure heaters

    Quality Assurance System acc. to ISO 9001 Standard, certified by RW TV (TV Cert). We

    are authorized to manufacture boilers and pressure vessels acc. to AD Merkblatt by RW

    TV and acc. to ASME Code Sections I and VIII, Div. 1, 2 by ASME , Welded Boilers and

    Welded Pressure Vessels Class. II and II by DNV. Fusion Welded Pressure Vessels Class 1,Group A and B acc to LR rules by Lloyds Register of Shipping. Our company is also

    authorized to manufacture pressure parts for nuclear power plants by Czech authorities.

    We are a Grosser Eignungsnachweis holder for steel structures welding (issued by SLV

    Berlin). VITKOVICE POWER SYSTEMS ENGINEERING is a China license holder for boilers

    pressure parts manufacturing.

    Quality Control is established and inspections are performed by the QC Department staff at

    all levels of manufacturing cycle in accordance with the QA Manual and Quality procedures.

    To meet the scope of required quality parameters, we adopted the recent methods for

    NDE, for testing of mechanical properties of materials as well as for metallographic

    examinations.

    In addition to the internal system of controlling compliance, the technology procedures and

    quality requirements examination are also carried out by the Notified Bodies, by the state

    Professional Supervision or by customers Supervisors.
