It is indeed a pleasure for KSQM (the Korean Society for Quality Management) to host the 18th QMOD (Quality Management and Organizational Development) Conference in Seoul during October 12-14, 2015 with the annual KSQM’s fall conference together. This conference is named as the 2015 QMOD-KSQM International Conference Seoul, Korea. KSQM is certainly honored to host the 18th QMOD Conference, which has a remarkable record of generating exciting and encouraging ideas in the field of quality management and organizational development. The theme for this event “Creating a Sustainable Future through Quality” is very appropriate and timely as there is an urgent need to

formulate the right strategies on quality management to create and support sustainable development of future earth, and to work together in close cooperation with each other. I, as the chair of the local organizing committee of this conference, would like to invite you to come to Seoul for this event, and enjoy the lively surroundings of Gangnam, which is the center of Seoul. October is in fact the best season in Korea, and I am sure that you will be happy with the beautiful weather. In this event, real quality management case studies of global companies such as Samsung, Hyundai, LG and others will be presented, and we will have an opportunity to visit Samsung Electronics to feel how and what they are doing well.
