Harriet later married Nelson Davis He died a few years later of tuberculosis Harriet died in 1913 at age 91

Harriet’s impact.

Harriet Tubman was such an important

part of history, because she was willing to risk her life for something she thought was important. She risked her life nineteen times for three- hundred people she didn’t even know. She was really the first person to successfully defy slaveholders for a long period of time. Harriet’s bravery inspired other people to fight for equal rights.
