We believe intellectual curiosity is the key to fi nding happiness and fulfi llment in one’s career and life. Young minds are stimulated through emphasis on creative thinking and experiential learning.

An excellent student-teacher ratio of 8:1 and a maximum class size of 24 ensure that each child gets personalised support from the dedicated faculty. Visiting foreign faculty from Europe and USA bring new perspectives from their own cultures into the academic framework.

While the CBSE syllabus is covered in-depth, the teacher as guide and mentor as friend encourage students to understand concepts, ask questions and go deeper out of interest rather than compulsion. Our academic infrastructure supports this aim completely.

Our two academic blocks have spacious, naturally-lit classrooms, eight CAT rooms with projectors and two computer labs with broadband connectivity. Each computer lab has 24 computers. The Science Block has laboratories for each branch of Science, Mathematics and Geography.

Guided exploration is encouraged through a Wi-Fi enabled multi media centre with a well-stocked library.

Recognising that the growing mind needs help with behavioural challenges and decisions about the future, the school engages with some of the best behavioural and career counsellors in the NCR.

“An introvert by nature. I have grown so much in my years here. The challenges presented to me and the life skills I have learned will always stay with me. Living and learning in such a beautiful environment has been an experience I shall cherish”.

“Every child is unique. For me it is heartening to see a school try and nurture that uniqueness by providing opportunities to let it build and grow. When we guide students in their career choices and subject stream selection in class X and college admissions in class XII one thing that makes a big difference is a mature world view and the ability to handle life outside school. It is always a pleasure to see how versatile The Sagar School students are with their life skills.”

Our diverse student intake makes our school a synergy of cultures. Children from countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, Nigeria, Russia, South Korea, UAE and USA seamlessly intermingle with students from over 22 states of India.

To expose our students to the breadth of world experience, we have exchange

programmes with schools in Europe and the USA. Optional school trips to the NASA, USA and to places in Europe and the Far East are offered.

To fi rmly ground our students in the realities of our own culture while developing a spirit of exploration and adventure, we frequently organise school trips to the

NCR and surrounding states. Once a year compulsorily, teachers escort students on excursions to places like Gangtok, Nathula Pass, Mussoorie and Rishikesh.

Regular community service by our students in the nearby village of Malliyer teaches them compassion and caring. Social welfare initiatives include adult literacy, free medical camps, health, hygiene and afforestation drives.

To be at home in any part of the world, to accept and understand diff erent cultures and to live with compassion are all part of the School’s philosophy.
