My C.A Blood banking is a process of separating the liquid part of the blood called plasma and using it for blood. At the past, many people died by loss of blood. They suffered from loss of blood especially in wars and sometimes accidents. However, a surgeon named Sergei Yudin in-vented an invention, which is my change agent, blood banking.

Blood Bank Blood banking is a process of separating plasma in the blood to make the blood pow-der. Hospitals do this because they could storage it maximum of 45 days. This can save many people’s life who could die by loss of blood. Blood banking was invented in March 23rd, 1930.

The first blood bank-ing

The first blood banking took place in Chicago Cook Country hospital in 1936. It was successful and others started to do it in the next decade. Ex-perts started to recognize blood bank-ing was needed after the effect in the World War II.

Dr. Drew’s death Unfortunately, Dr. Drew had a car accident and had to be at the hospital. He went to a ‘white man only’ hospital, which was the closest. How-ever, since he was a black man, he couldn't get the treat that other whites did. He died by loss of blood. It was only 1950, April 1st when this great inventor passed away by the age of 46. he got sev-eral awards for researching for his whole life.

Inventor of blood banking

The inventor of blood banking is Sergei Yudin, a Russian surgeon. He was born in September 27, 1891 and died in March 12, 1954. His full name is Ser-gei Serbeech Yudin, but since he was a Russian man, his life was still poor (Russia was a weak country that time).

Dr. Drew This black man, who was a pio-

neer in the blood banking project, was the youngest brother of 5 children. He was born at 1904,

June 3rd, in Washington D.C. His full name is Dr. Richard Charles Drew. His sister died in 1920 by a pandemic influenza, and that

made him have interest in medi-cal things. hHe graduated a col-

lege in Massachusetts called Amherst College in 1926.

Changes Blood Banking Made Before blood banking was made, most of the people who was seri-ously injured by wars and accidents died by loss of blood. However, blood banking made it possible to save people any time who could die by too much blood loss. Blood banking saves thousands of life every day.
