    The adjacent property owners and the members of the Woodland. Park Associationfeel honored that the i r sub-division was selected by the Methodist Church ofFerndale as the proposed locat ion for their parsonage. I t i s fe l t tha t sucha residence ami i t s occupants could contribute favorably to the general characterof the neighborhood. However, the proposed size of the dwelling ana the locat ionof the buildings upon the lo t ("39" of Woodland Sub-Division in Ferndale) i s ofconsiderble concern to the immediate property owners.We should l ike to draw your at tent ion to the folloYd.ng.

    1. I t i s the understanding that no building permit h&s been issued priorto the zoning ordinance nO,1 in effect. Article 4 of the general provisions Section 4.01 s ta tes "accept as h e r e L ~ after provided, no building or land orpart thereof shal l be used, al tered, constructed or reconstructed, except inconformity with the provisions of th i s ordinance 11 Therefore, we fee l verystrongly that t h i s new proposed construct ion be governed by th i s ordinance,inasmuch as i t has as i t s purpose among other factors , to provide for adequatel igh t andair and the prevention of the overcrowding of land.2.
