In West Shore, on the west shore of Lake Smore, was a store named The More Store. The More Store had more peaches and plums, more sweets and gum, and more games and fun than any other store in West Shore. The More Store was more than just a store. When the people of West Shore got bored, they went to the More Store. They shopped and chatted. They ate peaches and plums. They got sweets and gum. Thad and Chad were best friends. They liked to explore The More Store. One morning, Thad and Chad saw something they wanted a lot. It was The More Store’s Super Fly Fishing Rod. It would catch more fish than any other rod. Thad and Chad had some cash, but the rod cost more. “What can we do?” asked Chad. Thad saw a way. “We can do some chores to get more cash to pay for The More Store’s rods!” exclaimed Thad. Thad and Chad asked Miss Lore if he had something for them to do. Miss Lore paid them to stack logs all day. That night, Thad and Chad were very sore, but they had the cash to pay for the rods. In the morning, Thad and Chad went to The More Store to get two Super Fly Fishing Rods. They had the cash to get two rods and much more. They got some peaches and plums and sweets and gum to take to the shore. “When we get bored,” said Thad, “we can go back to The More Store to shop some more.” “I think it will be a while before we get bored with fishing!” exclaimed Chad. Then, they fished some more.
