Punta Cana Cable Park herewith invite all Members Federations of the IWWF Panam

1.Location
The Dominican Republic is the second largest country in the Caribbean, after Cuba, with the highest population in the region with 10.65 million people. It became independent in 1924 from the United States and is a democratic nation. The Dominican Republic has the 9th most important economy in Latin America and is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the Caribbean. Baseball is the most popular sport, the majority of the nation is Roman Catholic, and numerous forms of currency (Dominican Pesos, US Dollars, Euros) are accepted.

PUNTA CANA Punta Cana is a destination location for rest and relaxation. Here, the Atlantic meets the Caribbean, and large resorts line the beaches offering all of the comforts of modern living. Punta Cana is a golfer’s paradise with 11 courses located all along the strip. Most of the resorts cater to families with entertainment parks for children and activities for adults all in one place. 3.COMPETITIONSITE
AquaPark, is located in DownTown Punta Cana. It is a water sports park suitable for the whole family. Visitors have the opportunity to participate in various activities, from the most relaxed to those of greater action and adrenaline fueled, with family participation as the main focus. AquaPark hosts multiple activities, designed to suit adrenaline seekers or those seeking relaxation. You can participate on the Wake Park, sliding on the surface of the water, using either a Wakeboard, Water skis or a Knee board, our fantastic team can help with showing you how it’s done. There are some nice floating Obstacles on the course for the more experienced rider. We also boast a fantastic floating Inflatable Aqua Park, with a giant catapault! For those wanting something a little more sedentary, how about Paddleboarding around the Play Lake. AquaPark is ideal for all ages and pays special attention to ensuring it’s fun for the whole family! Ensuring that both adults and children have the amazing time they are all seeking. After all these activities, visitors will need to recharge, at AquaPark, they can find the restaurant Chozza, this fantastic restaurant offers gourmet food throughout the day to keep their visitors and family satisfied. After the park closes at sunset, Chozza stays open all night and often organizes events for fun to continue. About AquaPark: AquaPark is a unique destination for the whole family. 13.ENTRYFEE
TheEntryFeeisUS$180dollarsperathletewhichincludesthelunchesfortheathletes
oncompetitiondays, transporthotel-competition-hotelandalsoadmission toallofficial
receptionsandparties.
14.ENTRYREQUIREMENTS

It is the sole responsibility of IWWF-affiliated National Federations to select and enter
theirriders.
15.NOMINATIONFORIWWFPANAMCHAMPIONSHIPS
Each Federation may select its team in any manner it desires. However, each team
membermustbeacitizenorapplying forcitizenshipof thecountry that theFederation
represents. In case of doubt as to the nationality of a competitor, the Chief Judge and
ChiefCalculatornormallywillrefertohis/herpassport.Ifariderdoesnothaveapassport
fromthecountryhe/sheisrepresenting,he/shemustproveresidenceinthecountryfor
atleastfiveyearsandmembershipinanaffiliatedcluboftheFederation.EachFederation
shallcertifythatallmembersofitsteammeetthesequalifications.
Prior to competing,a competitormust signaparticipationcontractandunderstand the
natureofthesportanditsspecialrisks,particularlyintheformat.Itistheresponsibilityof
the competitor to register with the designated registration person and show proof of
Federationmembershipbefore riding.Competitorsmustdisclose to theeventorganizer
anyspecialmedicalconditions,includingbutnotlimitedto,injuriesinthepastorpresent
orotherpre-existingmedicalconditions.
IMPORTANT:InadditiontoyourofficialnominationandentrydonebyFederations,everyriderneedstoregisterandjointhecompetitionatwww.cablewakeboard.netindividually.
Asthisarethe1stPanamConfederationChampionships,andexceptionwillbedonetotheminimumrankingpointsrequirements.Nominimumrankingpointswillbeneededtojointhecompetition.

PAYATTENTIONTOTHESEPOINTS:
3.4 Competition Entry: All riders must be registered through their respective Federation. Federations will decide the criteria for the riders’ entry. There is currently no restriction to the number of riders per nationality.
3.5 There will be following World and Confederation Championships:
Open Championships (for five categories):
o Wakeboard: OpenMen,OpenLadies o Wakeskate: OpenMen,OpenLadies o Seated: OpenMen&Ladies
Youth & Senior Championships (for ten categories):
o Wakeboard: U15 Boys, U15 Girls, U19 Men,U19 Ladies, +30 Men, +30 Ladies, +40 Men, +40 Ladies o Wakeskate:U19Men,U19Ladies
As listed inpoint3.5of theWorldRulebook, thePANAMCHAMPIONSHIPS (as all other
confederationChampionshipsandWorlds)aredivided intwoseparatecompetitions.On
the first dayswewill held the “Youth and Senior” Championships and then the “Open
Championships”.
Riderscompeting intheYouthandSeniorChampionships incategoriessuchasU19or
+30canjoinalsotheOpenCompetition.Inthiscaseasecondentryfeewillhavetobe
paid.
Official trainings for theOpenCategorieswill beorganizedafter the finalsof theYouth
andSeniorChampionships.ThisallowsOpenriderstoarrivejustonNovember15th.

11 TEAM SCORING AT CONFEDERATION AND WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 11.1 It is encouraged to have a mixed participation with men and women riders within a team, although it is not compulsory.
2. 11.2 The following Team scoring will be used for country classification at Confederation and World Championships: Open Championships: team score will include the 5 best results of all categories, with a maximum of 1 rider per category. Youth & Senior Championships: team score will include the 10 best results of all categories, with a maximum of 1 rider per category.
3. 11.3 In the event of a tie between 2 teams, the next best score will be added until there is a winning team.
4. 5. 11.4 The ranking point system for the relevant competition, as described in
Appendix E, will be used to calculate the Team Scoring.
16.LIABILITY
The organizer Committee and Panam will not be liable for any loss or damage to
equipment or personal property, and injuries to athletes, officials, judges, official
volunteers, and other persons attending official or unofficial programmers during the
event.Athletesarerequiredtopurchaseandshowproofofpersonalaccident insurance
priortoentry.Theinsurancepolicymustprovidecoverageinternationally.
Theorganizerwillnotberesponsibleforanyinjurysustained,atanytime,byanyathlete
fromhisparticipationintheseevents.
AnycostsincurredformedicaltreatmentandhospitalizationinprivatehospitalsinBrazil
are high. Adequate personal medical insurance coverage is necessary. Certificate of
medical insurance coverage/full payment is required before medical
treatment/hospitalizationtakesplace.

well.EachTeamCaptainhastogiveLiabilityformsofallhisathletesattheRegistration.

17.DOPINGCONTROL
InaccordancewiththeIWWFAnti-DopingRules,dopingcontrolswillbeconductedduring
thecompetition.Byenteringthiscompetition,allathletesagreetobesubjecttodoping
control. Informationabout the IWWFAnti-Dopingprogram, thecurrent IWWFADRules
and links to the list of banned substances can be accessed on the following link
http://iwwfed.com/athletes/anti-doping/
Allridersmusthavetheirpassportswiththematanytimeduringthecompetition.Please
note, ifyouarerandomlychosenfordrugtesting,andfail to identifyyourselfwithyour
passport, or fail to take the test for any other reason, it will resultwith an immediate
disqualification.
18.OFFICIALTEAMTRAINING&EXTRARENTALHOURSPERCOUNTRY
OfficialtrainingforYouthandSeniorCategorieswillbeonNovember,13th.
OfficialtrainingforOpenCategorieswillonNovember16th.
Each countrywill have the training times calculated by the number of riders. The final
schedulebycountrywillbepublishedaftertheregistrationsaredone.
Federationscanalsobookrentalhoursforteamson5th November.

willarrangea‘specialNONRankedCompetition’forthisagegroup.
