‘See Beyond The Prejudice’

Partners from Lithuania, Romania and Italy visited Nevşehir.Each organization made presentations.

We visited Guidance and Research Center

Next we went to a private rehabilitation center and we witnessed the works for disabled children and had a meeting with parents of these children.

We visited Cappadocia training center and saw the works of disabled children.

We visited a special education school in Nevşehir. We had very nice time with disabled children.

Partner organization representatives visited the director of host organization and held a meeting. There was also certificate ceremony.

We made some cultural activities and visits.

There were lots of places to visit.

Our farewell dinner with all the partners.

Summary of the first visit in Nevşehir/TurkeyWe started our first visit program with the presentations of each organization.

It helped all the participants recognize the partner organizations. Participants had the chance to ask questions about the special education systems in partner countries. It was a good chance to see the similarities and differences between countries. During the visit participants were taken to the institutions which are responsible for special education. We all visited rehabilitation center, special education school, Cappadocia Training Center and Guidance and Research Center. Participants held meetings with the parents of disabled children and with the teachers and experts. We also made some cultural activities in Nevşehir. We visited touristic and historical places of the region.After the certificate ceremony, participants left Nevşehir. It was a nice and friutful meeting.
