Initiatives to promote active MTL Users

Reading Culture•Instill the love of reading MTL books through a structured

reading programme.

•Pupils are to maintain reading records and do follow up activities

after the reading sessions.

MTL Fortnight & School Based Activities• Pupils engaged in language and cultural activities through games,

competitions and learning stations.

Oral Communication Skills Enrichment• Will be conducted in Term 3. This workshop will engaged pupils

to communicate effectively using their Mother Tongue Languages.

Parents will be informed in the event your child is required to stay behind to finish the incomplete work. Similarly, for pupils who consistently hand in their homework late.

� Pupil’s Diary

The Pupil’s Diary is the primary mode of communication.

All parents/guardians will be informed of your child’s homework, any supplies needed for class activities and school/class matters. I will also leave little notes in it, whenever the need arises, to provide feedback on your child’s progress and development.

� Make-Up Work

In the event that your child is absent from school, your child will be given ample time to complete all the make-up worksheets and assignments.
