Purpose of the Symposium

The symposium is intended to promote the acculturation of graduate students into the

community of research.

Faculty in education will play a big part in the symposium, as we want advisors to work

closely with grad students to prepare sound proposals, and, eventually, to prepare the

results of research for presentation.
