First team members were Ken Woodard (Bronx, NY) and Jamell Johnson (Rochester, NY). Second team was Carson Murphy (Mohawk, NY). Woodard, a Communication Arts: Music Industry major at Herkimer College, totaled seven double doubles for the Generals in 29 games, averaging 13.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. Helping the sophomore to those totals was an impressive 63.4 percent field goal percentage which is currently eighth best in the nation. Johnson, a Business: Sports & Recreation major at Herkimer College, averaged 14.5 points, scoring in double figures 25 times for the Generals in 29 games. His season-high was 26 in a win over North Country (81-68), hitting a season-high six three point field goals. Johnson has hit five or more three- point field goals in five games for Herkimer this season, totaling 76 currently which is 11 th best in the nation. Murphy, Liberal Arts & Sciences: General Studies major at Herkimer College, averaged 9.9 points, 8.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game for the

HERKIMER, NY – The Herkimer Generals men’s basketball team had three players earn spots on the 2014-2015

Herkimer with eight games with three or more steals. The sophomore also has a season-high 20 points against

Clinton, season-high 16 rebounds against Fulton-Montgomery and season-high six blocks against Broome; helping

Herkimer to wins in each of those contests.

“Ken, Jamell and Carson are very deserving of this recognition,” said Head Men’s Basketball Coach Matt

Lee. “They are not the only ones who deserved to be recognized from this year’s Generals team. I look forward to

them leading us in the Region III playoffs!”
