Murdi Paaki and Centrelink threatened to Suspend me if I didn’t attend the RTC, Menindee Rural Transaction Centre for appointments, which Centrelink had previously said I would not have too. Then I received an appointment for Employment Services Assessment in Broken Hill Centrelink on the 23 April 2014, directing me to call 08 8307 0065, 24 hours before appointment if not attending. I phoned Assessment Services on 08 8307 0065 the day before appointment to inform I would be seeking legal advice & not attending. Assessment services gave assurance I wouldn’t be suspended. On the 2 nd of May I went to Broken Hill Centrelink and Complained to the Manager Fran Greville, about being forced to attend appointments at the RTC of which she said I did not have to attend. Fran Greville told me Murdi Paaki had suspended me and I should attend the RTC or lose payments. I informed Fran of cancelling the Employment Services Assessment to seek legal advice, to which Fran told me I would be suspended if another appointment was not made. Fran said I should think about going on a pension and how much extra money I would get, drawing blocks on a page like you would with a child, before handing me an appointment written on paper. After attending the Employment Services Assessment against my will and without legal advice, I have obtained the “Job Seeker Classification Instrument” under FOI which has defamed me. He DNA a JCA appointment and then Irene from Murdi Paaki has sent him an appointment letter to attend the RTC to negotiate his IPP. He was complaining because we know he won't go to any appoint at the RTC and that part of the letter indicating the consequences of not attending has been highlighted. I have phoned Irene, who advised that his record has been suspended, and that he doesn't need to attend the appointment with her on Mon if he reschedules his JCA. The JCA appoint has been rescheduled to 12 on 6/5. One concern for the cust is he does want to finish his cert IV, but that the provider will not include this in his IPP. I have restored his payments and RTGS his pay to his account. Cust did advise that he had cancelled his last appointment, but I could not see any docs. I have then found this in the' appoint notes: KPM 22/4 med checkS22. Cust advised on 22/4 that he will not be attending this apt and will be seeking legal advice S2222/4. Record should not have been suspended.
