Comparison between traditional toilet of bricks, cement and sand against movable, portable toilets.

Sr. No. Traditional toilets Portable toilets1 To make conventional toilets one has to non eco

friendly materials i.e. cement and bricks while construction, the environment gets polluted and also place where it is constructed gets dirty.

To keep portable toilets we use eco friendly materials, thus helping in keeping environment clean.

2 To make conventional toilets one has to block the surrounding area for the construction purpose, thus carrying delay in traffic and also causing inconvenience to the pedestrians.

For installation of this ready to use portable toilets, we take maximum 8 hours for toilets having 3 blocks of latrine and 2 shower areas. Thus it saves time, helps in neither disturbing traffic nor causes any inconvenience to pedestrians.

3 To make conventional toilets, say hardly four blocks of latrine and two shower areas, minimum time required will be 45 to 60 .

As they are fully equipped and ready to use, we neither depend on any raw material nor any labor.

4 After construction of the traditional toilets, one has to be careful of leakage in rains.

As this toilet is leak proof, there is no chance of leakage and hence no chance of short circuit.

5 If the road is widened, this toilet have to be dismantled, as they cannot be reused. The maintenance cost of this toilet is very high, as the tiles if broken, leads to leakage and damages floor etc.

If the roads need to be widened then this toilet can be shifted as it is, to the other location without any damage and can be reused.

6 Due to leakage problems, there are chances of short circuit and hence causing death hazards.

The maintenance cost is very low as the material used as floors are easily workable.
