$ Paper Money $

$ 1.00 dollar bill $ 5.00 dollar bill $ 10.00 dollar bill $ 20.00 dollar bill

When adding paper money you count by the amount on the bill. For example:$1.00 + $1.00 + $1.00 = $3.00$5.00 + $5.00 + $5.00 = $15.00$10.00 + $10.00 + $10.00 = $30.00$20.00 + $20.00 + $20.00 = $60.00 Coins

0.01 0.05 0.10 0.25

When adding coin money you count by the amount of the coin. For example:0.01 + 0.01 + 0.01 = 0.03 0.05 + 0.05 + 0.05 = 0.15 0.10 + 0.10 + 0.10 = 0.30 0.25 + 0.25 + 0.25 = 0.75 Difference between symbols $This symbol is for when paper money is used with or without coins.
