2nd Qtr. Report of JHRT 185 : Projects Distribution of WARM clothes at MOTHER TERESA HOME on 9th

Tr. Vikas with his wife Monika , Tr. Anish with his wife Tina & Tr. Swaytank gathered together at Mother Teresa Home for the distribution of warm clothes for the aged. It was an emotional event as the inmates were happy to receive the warm clothes on the beginning of winters.

Distribution of Clothes, Curtains, Geyser at BALLIKA SADAN on 10th November 2009

JHRT 185 team visited Ballika Sadan (an orphanage), which JHRT has been helping time & again. The Team distributed clothes, curtains for the windows and got a geyser installed as the winter is fast approaching. The management 7 children of Ballika sadan were pleased and thankful to JHRT 185 for this kind gesture

Free Eye Check Up Camp at Bindaika High School by JHRT 185 on 11th Nov.2009

JHRT 185 represented by Tr.Ashish Nagar,Tr.Vijay Johar & Tr.Abhishek Jaipuria organized a free eye check-up camp at the adopted Bindaika High School in association with Dr. Sonu Goel’s “Anand Eye Hospital”, Jaipur. Students from 7th & 8th class were checked. Total of almost 140 students were tested .Tree Plantation on 12th November 2009

Tr.Sanjay Porwal,Tr.Anish Kothari,Tr.Swaytank Maheshwari,Tr.Abhishek Jaipuria along with Twinkler Raghav Jaipuria assembled together at Dolphins International School at 9:30 a.m. on 12th Nov. for planting trees amidst a slight drizzle on an overcast day.

Keeping in tune with the National Initiative the 5th Day of the RTI Week was dedicated to the “Mentally Challenged” children on the caption of “Taare Zameen Par” on 13th Nov.2009

JHRT 185 represented by Tr.Amitabh with his wife Mamta,Tr.Sanjay,Tr.Ashish assembled at “Nirmal Vivek School” to conduct a drawing competition for mentally challenged children.PROJECT KADAM – JHRT 185 distributed 400 pairs of shoes to the students at the adopted Bindaika High Secondary School under “Project Kadam” on 14th Nov.09

Every time tablers went to the adopted school at Bindaika, it saddened them to see the children there bare footed with scars on their feet and hence was born “Project Kadam”.JHRT 185 reached Bindaika School and started the tedious job of distributing shoes to the children, it took the team almost 41/2 hrs to distribute the shoes. The smiles on the face of the children said it all, as for lot of them this was probably the fist time that they had worn shoes in their life.

Bhoomi Pooja – Jaipur Tables Joint School Project The urge to build a Greenfield School Project in Jaipur marked the foundation of a Joint School Project by all the three Jaipur Tables JPRT 171, JHRT 185 & JJRT 191 .A number of Govt allocated school sites were identified but the final one was at Barala Ki Dhani –A remote village off the Jaipur –Chomu highway.

The Villagers & Children attended the function in big nos. They were overwhelmed by this Project in their small village. It was a Dream Come True for themThe start date of the Project was 7th Nov 2009 with the projected date of completion of the 3 Classrooms would be around 15th February 2010 .
