Dear Colleagues,
Singapore’s strength in manufacturing is undeniably one of the city-state’s best kept secrets. Besides being a global financial and banking hub, Singapore has developed itself as an important manufacturing centre in industries ranging from electronics and precision engineering to pharmaceuticals and biotechnology and chemicals. Singapore is the fourth largest exporter of high-tech goods behind the US, China and Germany and manufacturing is a key engine of the Singapore economy, accounting for 20-25% of the GDP.
Thus, there lie great potentials for Singapore manufacturing organizations to leverage on smart manufacturing and the fourth industrial revolution and technologies such as advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, automation and robotics and 3D printing to attain supply chain and operations excellence, achieve growth and profitability in a tumultuous time and gain unsurpassed competitive edge over competitors. Furthermore, smart manufacturing will also create positive spill over effects, which will be further magnified because the manufacturing intelligence derived from it will have a multiplier effect as knowledge and growth extends to related services sector like trade, tourism and finance.
Understanding your need to stay ahead of the technology curve and prepare for the imminent Industry 4.0 disruption, Clariden Global cordially invites you to the 2nd Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 Forum: Redefining Manufacturing Excellence: The Dawn of The Smart Factory this coming April, a global gathering of manufacturing experts and thought leaders in the region to better understand, incorporate and devise strategic customer-centric manufacturing strategies.
