LAB STUDENT CODE OF CONDUCT

The primary use of computer systems/resources is for academic/educational purposes.

Lab personnel may ask you to leave for not complying with the Lab Rules.

The following are NOT allowed:

No food or drinks allowed on the computer’s tables. Using the network for personal use (Checking email, Facebook or any social media, and You Tube)

NO CELL PHONE USE: TALKING, OR TEXTING IN THE LAB. There is no Lab hour credit for texting/talking

while you are signed-in to the Lab.

Using the computers or wireless network to play games or gambling.

It is the SCC student’s responsibility to read and understand the College Policies and Procedures.

Detailed College Policies and Procedures are found in the SCC Catalog.

A minimum of 1 HOUR per week is requiredYou may complete your lab hour in one or multiple visits throughout the week. Your total time for the week should be a full hour. Extra weekly hours will not transfer over into the following week.

• NO PRINTING ALLOWED. • Keep track of lab hours on your own.• Additional Rosetta Stone Interactive Software.

• Failure to sign in and out will earn you ø lab credit.• Absolutely NO phone use in the lab.• Speak softly when repeating your lessons.• Do not turn off computer. • Close all applications opened.
