What is the Professional Development Conference (PDC)?• One of three mini-conferences held as part of
the NSBE Region V Fall Regional Conference (FRC)– Pre-College Initiative (PCI) Mini-Conference: Targets
Middle and High School Students– Collegiate Conference: Targets Undergraduate and
Graduate students– Professional Development Conference: Targets
Scientists, Engineers, Technical Educators, and Engineering Organizations
• The FRC is NSBE’s largest regional activity, with an attendance of 500-1,000
• NSBE Region V includes Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, and Texas

Conference• Scroll down to tasks and choose Register now• Once you have completed FRC registrations,
return to the FRC page to register for PDC events:– Register for the 2004 PDC AE/Professional
Luncheon/General Session– Register for one of the PDC Short Courses, if
interested– Register for the NASA tour, if interested
