•All District networked computers correctly configured should display this login screen after pressing the CTRL + ALT + DEL keys at startup.•In this diagram there are only two boxes for entering data. By clicking the Optionsbutton a third box becomes visible. This third box has two possibilities in a drop-down menu. In order to successfully log in make sure this third box says LISD.•Each LISD user is assigned a login and a password. As a new employee you should remember filling out an application for an Electronic Account. •Once your account has been set up by a Tech Department staff member you will receive a document telling your login and password. This password is randomly generated.

LISD

To change your password:1. Once you have logged in to your computer and you are looking at your desktop,

press CTRL – ALT – Delete.2. Click the Change Password button in the bottom left corner of this screen.3. Your screen should now look like the one in this slide.4. Enter your login name for User name.5. Enter the password you have previously been using to log in.6. Enter your new password, preferably a 6-8 digit combination of numbers and

letters7. Reenter your new password8. Click OK

Each campus has a variety of technology equipment. Some items are assigned to classrooms for teacher and student use. Other equipment may be placed in the library or computer lab for checkout. Please visit with your campus librarian or ITS.

iPod Lab

Sometime this fall the district’s first iPod lab will be available for checkout. The lab will contain 1 Macintosh laptop, 25 thirty gigabite video ipods, TuneTalk recording devices, headphones, data projector, amplifier and other peripherals.Check the website for more information.

The district pays annually for access to Atomic Learning, video-based professional development on the use of a variety of software, including all of Microsoft Office, many Adobe products, and much more.
