Youghal – a designated Heritage Town situated on the
coastline of East Cork and on the River Blackwater is
an ideal holiday destination for everyone.
This picturesque town where part of “Moby Dick”
was filmed in 1954, boasts 5km of Blue Flag Beaches,
enviable historic buildings and monuments
combining past and present.
Steeped in history, heritage and culture, there are
numerous delights to be explored such as golf, arts,
crafts and water sports including angling, whale and
dolphin watching, diving and deep sea fishing.
Youghal has a history stretching back 1,000 years that
is exhibited in our Heritage Centre. Entrance is free
to all.
