Unplugcoilpacksandinjectors.Remove2boltsinbracketthatholdswireloomtobackofsuperchargerwith10mmsocket.Removesparkplugwiresandremovecoilpacksandlabel.Eachcoilpackhastwoboltsthatcanberemovedbyusingacombinationof10mmsocketand10mmratchetwrench.

Removeserpentinebelttensionerpulleyand2boltsonserpentinebracketwith15mmsocketandextensionandremove.Thisallowsaccesstoremovethe3boltsonthesuperchargerbelttensionerbracketwith15mmsocket.Reinstallserpentinebelttensionerbracket.

Removesparkplugswith5/8”plugsocketandshortextension.Certaintypesofheadersrequiretheuseofa5/8”plugsocketand¾”boxendtoremoveplug#3.Removeheaderbolts,6oneachside,with½”ratchetwrench.Dipstickboltmustberemovedonrightsideusing15mmshallowsocket.Pulloutdipstickbeforeremovingrightsideheaderbolts.

Mayonlyberequiredifyouhavelongtubeheaders.Removeupperandlowersteeringcolumnboltstoremoveleftsideheader.Use7/16”socketandratchetwrench.Removesteeringcolumn.

Mayonlyberequiredifyouhavelongtubeheaders.Remove2starterboltsusing13mmsocketwithlongextensionandoneboltholdingontheplasticflexplatecoverwith10mmsocket.Removepowerwiretothestarterbyremovingnutwith½”deepwellsocket.Unplugandremovestartertoremoveheader.

Removehosefromsteamportfittingonrightandleftside,removesteamportfittings.Use10mmsocketonleftsideand10mmboxendonrightside.

Removecoolantlinestosuperchargerintercoolerbrickonbackofsuperchargeranddisconnect8plugs/hosesfromsuperchargesandlid.

Disconnectfuellineusingquickdisconnecttool.

Testfitexhaustmanifoldsusing9/16”ratchetwrench.WerecommendwrappingtheareashownonthePSwiththesuppliedwrap.Reinstallsteeringcolumnandstarter(leavestarterwiringoffforfuturestep).NoteDSclearanceofWGtubetobodyaswellasPSlogtocradle.Dependingonwearofenginemounts,youmaywanttoaddsomeclearanceinthese2areaswithasmalldimpleabovetheDSWGtubeandsmallgrindonPSCradleundertheLog.Thismaynotbenecessarybutcanbedoneforadditionalclearancetopreventvibration.

InstalloilsupplyfittingunderoilsendingunitONLYifusingoilcooledturbochargers.Air-cooledturbochargersdonotrequirethis.InstallprovidedfittingsforturbooilsupplyandInstallsteamvents.

Installcoilpacks,sparkplugsandwires.Plugincoilpackandfuelinjectors.Connectfuellinetofuelrail.

Removetheredmapsensorshownabovefromsuperchargerandconnecttheredonetoyourintakemanifold.WesimplyremovedthewrapontheMAPsensorwiringsowecouldroutetheplugbacktothenewlocationwithoutanyextensionrequired.Re-wrapwhencomplete.Re-connectbrakeboosthosetointake.IAT2sensorfromsuperchargerisnotrequiredasyourMAFalsoreadsIAT.

Removebraceonbothsides.Use10mmsockettoremovebolt.Thisneedstoberemovedtoinstallintercooler.

UnclipthePowerSteeringcoolerandflipthe(2)hoseswitheachothertopreventhosekinking.

LightlygrinddowntheinsidelipsoneachsidethebumperbeamsaswellasalittleintheareaaroundwheretheDSheadlightmountsasshown.

Dipstickmountingtabwillneedtobemodifiedtofit.Installdipstickwith15mmshallowsocket.

Cutthealuminumchassisbracesoffasshownoneachside.Wesupplyreplacementbracestoboltinplace. Installthesuppliedreplacementchassisbracesonthe

backsideusingtheOEMboltintheOEMbolthole.LineuptheotherendinthemiddleoftheremainingarealeftonthecutoffOEMchassisbracesandmarkthenewholelocation.Remove,drillholethroughsoyouwillbeabletoboltdownwiththesuppliedhardware.Bothsides.

Locateyourpreviouslyremovedstarterwireandtrimlocatertaboffonesideasshown.Thiswillallowyoutorotatethewiringupasshowninsecondphotoformuchmoreclearancearoundthemanifold.

Testfitdownpipesontotheturbochargersusingthesuppliedv-bandclamps.Snugthemdownbutleavejustlooseenoughsothedownpipescanrotatesomeforalignment.

Installthe(2)suppliedchassisbracesusingtheOEMboltatoneendandoursuppliedlargebolt/nutintheholeyoupreviouslydrilled.

InstallCold-sidetubesfromturbooutletsusingthesupplied90*couplersoffeachturboandrunuptoeachsideoftheintercoolerinstallingwiththeother(2)90*couplers.SecuretubestothetabonthechassisbraceusingthesuppliedM6bolt/nutoneachside.Securethecouplersusingthesupplied2”T-boltclamps

Installwastegates.Havingtheturbosanddownpipeslooseenoughtorotateherewillallowyoutoproperlyalignbothinletandoutlet.IfrunningboostofftheWGSpring,ensurethetopportisopen,andonelowerporthasafittingopenwiththeotherpluggedoff.Clampwastegatetothesectionwiththeflextubefirsttoalloweasieralignment.

Upfront,locatetheOEMMAFsensorandtrimoffthelocatortabascircled InstallMAFsensorinto3.5”Cold-sidetubealongwithBOV.

EnsurefittingisinstalledontheBOVforvacuumreference.Afterboth,installtocarusingthesuppliedcouplerwithoneendtoThrottlebodyandothertotheintercooleroutlet.Removingsomewireloomandre-routingMAFwiremayberequiredtoreachnewlocation.Oncedonere-wrapandsecurewire.

Runyourboost/vacuumreferencelinesforWastegatesandBOVs.Ifyoupurchasedouroptionalkit,splicethesuppliedCNCpieceinlineofthebrakeboosterhoseasthesource.ForbasichookupofjusttheWGsandBOV,runoneporttotheBOVusingthesupplied¼”vacuumhosecuttolengthandsecurewithsuppliedspringclamps.Runanotherportusingthesuppliedhosedowntothewastegateareadownlowensuringithassufficientclearancetoanythinghot.RunthisintooneofthesuppliedTeefittingsandashorterlengthhosefromtheother2portsofftheTeetothelowerportoneachwastegate.Secureallconnectionswiththespringclamps.Ensureotherlowerportsonthewastegatesarepluggedandthetopisvented.Ifrunningaboostcontroller,hookuppertheirinstructions.

Re-installyourenginebaycoversandgooverallnewconnectionpoints;allT-boltandV_bandclamps,allnuts/boltsandensureallarenotsnugdownandtight.Ensurenothingisrestingonorclosetoanyhot-sidetubingorturbocharger.Re-installthefrontbumpercover(someveryminortrimmingmayberequiredontheinnergrillmountingareaneartheoutlettubeoftheintercooler.)Ensureallfluidsaretoppedoff.

Note:Air-cooledturbochargerscomepre-greasedfromComp.Theyrequireadding7-8pumpsoftheirproprietarygreaseevery~3kmiles.Thisiseasytodoandkeeponschedulewithyouroilchanges.Ifyouneedassistance,wecansetyouupwithatubeoftheirgreaseaswellasthesmallgreasegunforyourmaintenance.Somebluesmokeuponinitialstartupaswellasafterre-greasingisnormal,thisisjustexcessgreaseburningoffandwillclearup.
