Introduction The hottest event on the LPGA Tour rides into Calgary just in time for summer 2009! The CN Canadian Women’s Open, coming off a record breaking year in 2008, will bring the top stars of the LPGA Tour to Priddis Green’s Golf and Country Club. With a record attendance and over $1 million raised for the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario in 2008, the bar has been raised for 2009. From August 31st to September 6th 2009, the LPGA Tour will call Priddis, Alberta home for the number one event on Tour. The buzz has begun for 2009 with the announcement that the championships total purse has been increased and is now the richest full field event on the LPGA Tour. This will guarantee a similar field to 2008 where 47 of the top 50 players on Tour challenged for the title.
