Construction Site Responsibilities --
Everyone needs to be involved!!
- WisDOT – Consultant – Contractor(s) -
Understand our responsibilities
Identify requirements and commitments
Apply/obtain Permits (or permit mods) and certifications
Site inspections, reviews, and corrections
Coordination and negotiation with agencies and utilities
Communication – internal and external
Reporting requirements (internal and external)
etc, etc, etc …
Compliance on WisDOT’s project sites is a shared responsibility!
“It is easy to dodge our responsibilities, but we cannot dodge the consequences of dodging our responsibilities.”
-- Josiah Stamp
Remember …
Environmental non-compliance represents a substantial risk to
your business! wasted time, effort, and $$
damaged reputations
additional scrutiny/oversight
