Purpose Statement (Goals): IDS Search will provide patrons a well designed,

relevance ranking discovery tool that simultaneously searches the IDS member library collections.

Enrichment of the search results with additional data (i.e. Google Books) or services (i.e. ILLiad) will be seamlessly integrated.

Search scoping allowing the patron to seamlessly search and easily recognize search results on the local, consortial, and national/world-wide levels.
