We understand that construction can cause inconvenience, so Spokane Regional Transportation Council, Spokane County, the City of Spokane, the City of Spokane Valley, and the Washington State Department of Transportation have coordinated to provide you with a comprehensive look at the road construction projects you will encounter in 2009. Major construction projects that are expected to impact traffic are listed on this map. Projects with minor impacts, and the most up-to-date construction information, can be found on the Spokane Regional Transportation Management Center web site at www.srtmc.org. The site features 38 live traffic cameras 24 hours a day and maps that show the location of construction projects or other events, such as traffic accidents and slowdowns, that could cause delays. I-90/Geiger Interchange to WSP (MP 276) Construct fiber optic communications and camera link from the WSDOT network along I-90 to Washington State Patrol headquarters.
