1) Assembly Diagram
The thin-film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) is a cutting-edge display, which screens i t i f ti b dj ti th t f li ht itt dpicture information by adjusting the amount of light permitted.
TFT is a circuit formed with semiconductor films on a thin glass substrate to control liquid crystals. This circuit plays a vital role in controlling each pixel, the basic unit of a picture image.
The color filter displays a color image by coating the pixel (red, green and blue) on a glass substrate.

2) Precaution & Checkpoint
(1) Precaution
• When this module is disassembled from the front panel and is tried to assemble again, you should check the condition of surface. If the surface of the polarizer is dirty by the foreign things, dusts, fingerprint, clean it using some absorbent cotton or soft cloth.
• The desirable cleaners are water, IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) or Hexane. - The other things might permanent damage to the polarizer due to chemical reaction.
Do not connect disconnect the module in the “Power On” condition• Do not connect, disconnect the module in the Power On condition.- Module has high frequency circuits. Sufficient suppression to the electromagnetic interferenceshall be done by system manufactures.
Do not leave the module in high temperature high humidity and direct sunlight for a long time• Do not leave the module in high temperature, high humidity and direct sunlight for a long time.
(2) Checkpoint about trouble
S/W : Check the driver status Adjusting screen frequency• S/W : Check the driver status, Adjusting screen frequency
• H/W : Check the connection status of each cable and card Replace with Inverter, Control Electronics Board and TFT LCD

-> Check the power cable connection status of OPL assembly. (Check +12V input.)-> Check the LED color of the OSD board.
- LED OFF: The AD board is in off state. Press OSD Power On/Off button.- Green ON: The AD board is in normal state. (Check or replace the inverter cable or inverter board)
-> If the trouble persists, replace the AD board. -> If the trouble persists even after the AD board is replaced replace the LCD assembly> If the trouble persists even after the AD board is replaced, replace the LCD assembly.
2) Backlight of the LCD panel on the rear side of OPL assembly is on.-> Connect/Disconnect the power line of OPL assembly. -> If “Nautilus HYOSUNG” logo is not displayed on the OPL screen, replace the AD board.
The LCD is displayed whiteThe LCD is displayed white. -> Check the installation status of the LVDS(Low voltage differential signaling) cable inside the assembly. -> If the trouble persists even when the installation status is normal, replace the cable.-> If the trouble persists even after the cable is replaced, replace the AD board.-> IF the trouble persists even after the AD board is replaced, replace OPL assy.
When the screen is in red or other colors (when the color display is normal)-> Check the connection status of the video cable. (Connect again.)-> Check the connection status of the LVDS cable. (Connect again.)-> If the trouble persists, replace the LVDS cable.> If the trouble persists, replace the LVDS cable. -> If the trouble persists even after LVDS cable is replaced, replace the AD board.
The screen does not provide visible display.-> Replace the LVDS cable. > If the trouble persists replace the AD board

Principle of Electromagnetic parts : Fleming’s Rule
•Fleming's left hand rule (for electric motors, micro clutch, solenoid) shows the direction of the thrust on a conductor carrying a current in a magnetic field. The left hand is held with the thumb first finger and second finger mutually at right angles•The left hand is held with the thumb, first finger and second finger mutually at right angles.•The First finger represents the direction of the Field. •The Second finger represents the direction of the Current (in the classical direction, from positive to negative). The Thumb represents the direction of the Thrust or resultant Motion

6) Error Handling 1) The error LED blinks and print-out fails.First, turn the printer off and check paper jam.First, turn the printer off and check paper jam.If the paper is not jammed and the printer kept printing, the printer header may be over heated. If it is,the printer will resume printing when head temperature drops. (Normally, within 4 – 5 minutes later.)If an error is not caused by paper jam or overheat, turn off the printer and turn on again after 10 seconds. If the printer still fails, plug out the power cord and contact with the service center.
2) Error LED is off but fails to print outSee if the printer runs properly by running the self test . If the self test fails, replace with new JPR.Otherwise, check the following items.Check connection of both ends of the interface cable connected to other device. See if the cable matchesthe printer and device specifications.Data transmission settings between the printer and the device may differ. Therefore, see if dip switch setting for data transmission is properly set. You can check the interface setting of the printer through a self test. If the printer still fails, replace with new JPR.
3) Printing sound is heard but nothing is printed out.See if the ribbon cassette is properly installed. If ribbon cassette is used up, replace it with new one.
4) Printed material looks blurred4) Printed material looks blurredRibbon can be used up. Replace with the new one.
5) Dots are missing in the printed material. The printer head may be damaged. Contact with the sales office or the service center
