Advisory No. 2010 / D Q ~ Date: 17 February 2010 Advisory Against Fixers I The Philippine Consulate General reiterates t o all Filipinos in the Western Regi on of the Kingdom of Saudi Ar abi a its continuing warning not to 1 be swayed by prorr~ises f unscrupulous individuals who promise to arrange , for repatriation or deportation to th e Philippines in exchange for monetary or i other considerations. I Recently, two Filipinas approached and complained to the Consulate regarding a certain Marlito "Omar" Valerio (whose ph oto appears below). Allegedly, Mr. Valerio promised the two ~il i pinasto rrange, for a fee, their rep atri ation from the Kingdom. The Filipinas paid S R 1,300 and SR1, 500 respectively, hoping that they c o ~~ l d oon leave the Kingdom. Their hopes were dashed, however, since the promises of Mr. Valerio never materialized. In fact, one of them was pimped by Mr. Valerio to some of his friends. The Philippine Consulate General strongly advises all Filipinos never to deal with any person who promise to arrange for repatriation in exchange for monetary or other considerations.
