Unit Heaters — SEP Series Reliable SEP Series unit heaters from ADP are designed to stand up to the harshest climates. The aluminized or stainless steel heat exchangers are extremely durable, providing reliable comfort in a range of environments. Direct-drive propeller fans are quiet and efficient and the inshot burners never need adjustment. The direct spark ignition has a lockout feature to improve safety. SEP units are available in sizes from 100,000 to 390,000 BTUHs to meet most commercial applications.

Cayenne FSA Series Unit HeatersAvailable from the factory in natural or liquid propane gas. The units' easy-to-clean inshot burners, direct spark ignition, quiet fans, and dependable tubular heat exchangers provide trouble-free heating. All Cayenne unit heaters can be vented horizontally or vertically. Cayenne FSA series heaters use air from the heated space for combustion. A single pipe vents the flue gases to the outside.

Delta Tube™ HD (In Ground)The Delta Tube™ HD is a high density polyethylene floor heating system that's an excellent choice for heating warehouses, retail areas, potting areas, and greenhouses. It installs easily and because the tubing is installed directly into a concrete floor, it doesn’t get in the way. Great for areas where run-off is a concern. Special manifolds are concealed in a 2’ x 3’ box in the floor. No tubing is left exposed. Delta T also offers Delta Tube HDPEX tubing to meet the strict codes required in some areas. For systems where an oxygen barrier is required, we offer the Delta Tube HDPEXOX.

Fin HeatingDelta Fin™ SF Delta Fin™ is a great choice for uniform convection heating. It's constructed of aluminum to dissipate heat quickly, resulting in substantial energy savings. The external surface of 100 lineal feet of Delta Fin™ is approximately the same as 844 lineal feet of 2” bare pipe. This means it would take 844 feet of 2” pipe to produce the same amount of heat as it would take 100 lineal feet of 2” Delta Fin™. Its high BTU output means you need fewer units. All fittings connect with a special all-aluminum coupler which requires no threading. The unique fittings make it easy to install and its simple design makes the Delta Fin™ easy to maintain. This system is for heating the greenhouse from the perimeter or running under the gutter for snow melting. Ideal for cold spots and hard-to-heat areas.

Hot Dawg HeatersHot Dawg heaters are small, efficient, and economical heaters that can be used in parking lot houses, potting rooms, garages, and even warehouses.

• A thermal efficiency of 80%, maximizing seasonal efficiency through the use of a collector box and the power exhaust.

• A power exhaust that can be rotated 180 degrees. The unit can be vented vertically or horizontally.

• A 100% shut-off, intermittent pilot-ignition system with continuous retry at no extra charge. This ignition system allows for all PDP/BDP units to be field-converted to propane, if desired.

• A safety pressure switch to assure safe venting conditions.• Designed to utilize the smallest diameter vent pipe possible.• “Wing” screws designed so the bottom pan can be dropped without a screwdriver or

Exhaust Fans (Type NBF)American Coolair exhaust fans provide fresh air ventilation in your greenhouse. These fans and their accessories give years of trouble-free service. The principal underlying fresh air ventilation is to exhaust hot and humid air from the greenhouse by means of the exhaust fan and to replace it with cooler outside air entering the opposite end of the greenhouse through an inlet shutter(s). The exhaust fan assembly consists of the fan, wall housing, shutter (mounted on the housing), and guard. By adding motorized inlet shutter(s) and a thermostat, the system can be completely automatic.

Type GSWH (Slope) Wall HousingThe slope wall housing allows the shutter to be placed on the intake side of the fan and eliminates air turbulence that occurs with the shutter on the down side of the fan. Evaporative Cooling Pad SystemTo counter periods of extreme temperature that affect in-house environments and therefore production, Coolair Evaporative Cooling Systems are used with outstanding success. When large quantities of air are pulled through Glacier-Cor pads that are saturated with water, a substantial cooling effect is realized due to the evaporation of the water. Used in conjunction with

Coolair fan applications, a temperature reduction of 10 to 25 degrees is commonplace. Suited for all geographic locations, the Coolair Evaporative Cooling System delivers the greatest economic benefits to areas where higher temperatures during longer periods of time are the norm.

What is Evaporative Cooling Pad? Evaporative Cooling Pads (Evap-Pads) are a product developed for horticultural and agricultural cooling applications. Evap-Pads are made from a specially formulated cellulose paper, impregnated with insoluble anti-rot salts, stiffening saturants and wetting agents. Evap-Pads have a cross fluted configuration that gives maximum cooling when the warm air passes through the wet Glacier-Cor pads. It’s available in 4" and 6" thickness.

The Evaporative Cooling PadEvap-Pads are 4” or 6” thick, 12” wide with height increments every 12” from 24” to 96”. The Evap Pads are positioned adjacent to each other to form a continuous pad of the required height and length. 4” Evap-Pads up to 48” tall and 6” Evap-Pads up to 72” tall are self-supporting, and therefore don't require wire baskets or other supporting materials. Micro Grow systems are based on a very simple concept. They monitor the greenhouse environment by means of proven and reliable sensors. The grower sets various parameters for all of the greenhouse equip-ment. When the control system senses that the desired range of temperature and humidity (if used) is out of the

Reflectors: The Most Important Part Of A Greenhouse Fixture

An effective lighting system depends strongly on the way light is distributed across the crops. An even blanket of light ensures uniform plant growth, promotes production of fruits, leaves, or flowers, and enhances overall plant quality. It is not unusual for crop yield to increase at least 10% due to a change in light distribution.

The secret to obtaining a uniform blanket of light is to equip light fixtures with reflectors, which receive and reflect light in the desired direction. Its shape, reflecting angle and the emission of total light quantity between that angle determine the efficiency of each reflector.

What's so good about P.L. Light Reflectors? All reflectors are made out of one piece of aluminum and

are guaranteed to be uniform.

Reflectors are polished and anodized. The microscopically small facets at the surface diffuse the light pattern and reduce the collection of dirt. Anodizing causes a layer of aluminum oxide to develop which protects the reflector against chemical influences, diffuses the reflected light, and makes the reflection uniform.

The reflectors are sealed and treated with a matte finish, which reflects evenly, or a high gloss reflector, which reflect selectively.

HI 10,000 Series Fertigation SystemsThe HANNA Fertigation System provides pre-cise control of pH and fertilizer injection. Unlike flow driven systems, the HANNA Fertigation System constantly mea-sures the actual EC and pH of the water, allowing the system to add the precise concentration of fertilizer directly to the irrigation supply.

The HANNA System is a bypass system which does not limit line flow or pressure. This allows the user to inject fer-tilizer from 5 GPM up to 300 GPM accurately. The HI 8000 series controller included with the system has 10 programs that allow the user to set various EC and pH values for a variety of plants.

Each system allows the injection and mixing of up to 4 fertilizers. Dramm Drip Assembly: Dribble Tubes & WeightsThe Dramm Tube has been a favorite for many years because of its shape and ease of use. Dramm has retained the best of the Dribble Tube weight while adding features to work more easily with the Dramm Low Flow System. The Dramm Low Flow weights (LF-W) are made from the same zinc aluminum alloy as the Dribble Tube weights (DT-W), but unlike the DT-Ws, the LF-Ws have a barb fitting for easy assembly. The Dramm LF-W weights are very compact and have a slim design that allows for easy harvesting. Additionally, in-stead of clamping to the outside of the leader tube, the water passes through the LF-W weights and out two side exit ports. This prevents the tube from plugging up with the media in the pot and provides for more even watering.

Effi cient Spray PatternNetafim Spray Stakes are specifically designed and matched to the container shape. They are designed to wet the soil surface evenly to maximize water retention by the soil mix and evenly release liquid or timed-release fertilizers.

Spray Stake AssembliesNetafim Spray Stake Assemblies are specifically designed and matched to the container shape producing uniform and accurate wetting patterns for nursery containers from 3 to 30 gallons in size. They are an excellent solution where the primary means of fertilization is top dressing and where very coarse textured bark mixes are used.

PCNL Spray Stakes Netafim’s new PCNL Spray Stake Assemblies are pressure compensating with a check valve for improved control of water and fertilizers. The efficient spray pattern evenly wets the soil surface to maximize water retention while misting is nearly eliminated and wind drift is prevented. Pressure RegulatorsPressure regulators automatically regulate water pressure in pipes or tubing downstream of its location. Pressure regulators have become effective tools extensively used in solid-set, mechanical-move, and low-volume irrigation systems to take a finite amount of water and apply it uniformly over a specific area. Uncontrolled pressure fluctuations into emission devices result in unwanted flow deviations and lower distribution uniformities. Common causes of pressure variation include changes in system demand and/or water supply and friction loss through pipe and fittings. FOGCO SystemsFOGCO Systems are becoming standard equipment for all greenhouse ap-plications. Although a fog system cannot control or affect all variables, it can have a positive impact by regulating the temperature, humidity and moisture content within the greenhouse.

Fog systems are ideal for addressing and correcting the problems associ-ated with high temperatures and/or low humidity levels. This will promote increased health and productivity within the greenhouse by eliminating ‘plant water stress, one of the most significant factors in the growth of all plants.

Plants lose their moisture through evaporation from the leaves. They also gather carbon needed for growth in the form of carbon dioxide through the leaves. By controlling the plants' pores through the use of a properly de-signed fog system, the results are stronger and healthier plants with optimum growth potential. The overall effectiveness of the system will depend on exist-ing temperature and humidity levels.

Fog systems can also be used to introduce fertilizers by injecting nutrients directly into the atmosphere. The moisture and the nutrients are absorbed by the leaves of the plant.

Screen Filters and SCANAWAYThe SCANAWAY assembly consists of a hollow pipe with suction nozzles facing the inner side of the screen. Opening the exhaust valve at the filter lid creates low pressure conditions, causing the scanner nozzles to suck in the dirt from the screen surface and expel the dislodged particle out through the valve. A simple turn of a handle causes the scanner to rotate and scan the whole screen surface.
