2010 Substation construction and feeder work

Darboy Substation – Town of Harrison, CTH N, south of CTH KK

- 34.5kV to 12kV substation built on existing company owned parcel

- 25MVA transformer, 4 feeder exits

- serves continuing residential growth and increasing commercial development in area

- Enclosed, “cabinet” style construction minimizes overhead steel with shorter profile

- Enhanced landscape plan at town request

- Construction started - Complete by late fall, 2010

Pearl Street Substation – CTH G, City of Seymour

- Retiring 2 existing 4kV substations

- New 12kV substation will allow bridging to Seymour and eliminate electric

“island”

- Provides for future growth and enhanced reliability

Taken together – the preceding represents an investment in excess of $ 10 million dollars in utility infrastructure for the Fox Valley area in 2010.

This investment enhances gas and electric reliability and safety while providing the basic utility services necessary to support the continued economic vitality of our area.
