INTRODUCTION Skin Light Therapy is an innovative treatment method that uses pulses of red and infrared light

to both stimulate and accelerated the body’s natural healing process. Skin Light Therapy can be

helpful for any problem whether, physical, mental, emotional or spiritual and as a relaxation

therapy. The light stimulates the fibroblast cell activity in the skin, and results to an increase of

production of collagen and elastin. The skin will appear smoother, tighter and more radiant.

Photon Light Therapy is a non-invasive treatment and is safe to use. Skin Light Therapy does not

heat the tissues the same way lasers do, the reason being that LED use longer wavelengths and

therefore penetrate the tissues deeper, where lasers are more pinpointed in their delivery. The

advantage of using LED is that you can treat the entire body which is useful for treating people

with serious burns, injuries etc where large portions of the body is involved.

WHAT IS SKIN LIGHT THERAPY? The Skin Light Therapy is a hand held device which emits infrared light and is held over specific

points located on the body. The light penetrates the skin to help increase blood flow and

circulation. It is a non-invasive, safe, painless. Photon Light Therapy works in four general

TREATMENT (COLOURS)

BLUE Blue has a calming effect on the body

HOW DOES IT WORK? Photon Light Therapy breaks the painful inflammatory cycle by dilating small blood and lym-

phatic vessels. This increase in circulation removes the irritating inflammatory products and

results in accelerated healing and pain relief. The fibroblasts, immune system and nervous sys-

tem are also stimulated by photon Io increase activity – thereby repairing damaged tissues

sooner.

SKIN LIGHT DISPLAY

HOW TO USE VOLTAGE - This appliance is designed for use with a 230V-240V AC~50Hz mains supply. With a

suitable plug adaptor, the appliance may be used in mainland Europe.

1. Please ensure that the skin is completely clean and dry.

2. Plug the mains adaptor into a mains socket (230V), and the small ‘Jack Plug’ (on the

adapter) fits into the back of the Skin Light unit.

3. Open the Skin Light unit by pressing the white button on the front of the unit down and

the cover will be released. Lift the cover to open the unit.

4. To switch “ON” the Skin Light unit, press the “ON” button.

5. Once the “ON” button has been pressed the unit will “BEEP”.

6. On the LCD display the three primary colours and power level are selected by default.

7. Please be advised that the primary colours are Blue, Yellow and Red, the secondary col-

ours are Lilac (red & blue), Green (blue & red), Orange (red & yellow).

8. Select which colour you want to use by pressing the colour button or the combination as

above. The unit will “BEEP” every time you press any of the buttons.

9. Once you have selected your colour, select the power level by pressing the power level

increase/decrease button.

10. To begin your treatment push the Start button, this will “BEEP” and the lights will appear

on the hand held unit.

11. Gently run the lens of the Skin Light unit slightly above the surface of the skin. Alterna-

tively you can attach the enclosed plastic spacer for a more accurate reading. It is not es-

sential to use the spacer.

12. The Skin Light unit programs are automatically set for 15 minutes.

13. Treatment may be paused at anytime during the treatment by pressing the Pause button

and the lights on the hand held unit will be switched off and the clock on the LCD will

flash. To restart the treatment again press the Start button, the lights will come on again.

14. If you want to Stop the treatment at anytime press the STOP button, the lights will switch

off and the display will reset.

15. The Skin Light unit has an automatic “cut off” switch after 5 minutes and the unit will

have to be turned ON again.

16. When you have completed your treatment, please switch off the unit by pressing the

“OFF” button and unplug your Skin Light unit from the mains.

17. After your Skin Light unit has been put away safely, apply a small amount of the Soothing

Moisturising lotion to the skin.

CONTRAINDICATIONS/PRECAUTIONS Do not use the Skin Lite unit if you suffer from any of the following conditions:

Cancer Pregnant

Over any areas of infections Epilepsy

Skin disorders Cuts and open wounds

Eczema

Do not use around the eyes or mouth, or any sensitive parts of the body.

GENERAL CAUTION

To reduce the risk of fire, burns, electric shock or other injury, before using your Skin Light unit a

careful study of the following important safety precautions is strongly recommended:-

• WARNING – THIS APPLIANCE MUST NOT BE TAKEN INTO THE BATHROOM

• DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID

• DO NOT USE WITH WET HANDS

Such situations above constitute a DANGER TO LIFE through electric shock.

• DO NOT WRAP THE MAINS CORD AROUND THE UNIT WHEN STORING.

• This appliance should NEVER be stored whilst hot or while still connected to the mains, al-

ways ensure the appliance is switched off, unplugged from the mains and that it has cooled

down before storing.

• The unit should not be left unattended when plugged in.

• This appliance is intended for household use only. It is not intended for commercial use.

Use the appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.

• Never continue to use this appliance if it is not working properly, or has been dropped, or if

it has been dropped in water or any other liquid, or if it has a damaged plug or lead.

• Keep the mains lead away from heated surfaces.

• Do not stare into the light for too long.

Do not repair the appliance yourself always consult an authorized technician

CLEANING AND CARE

1. Switch the unit off and unplug before cleaning.

2. Use a damp towel to clean the appliance.

3. DO NOT immerse the appliance in water.

4. Keep this product in a dry, cool and safe place.

5. Do not use any harsh detergents, abrasives, solvents or cleaners. Never immerse in wa-

ter to clean.

DISPOSAL AND THE ENVIRONMENT

If your electrical appliance requires replacement or is of no further use, please think of protect-

ing the environment. Contact you local authority for advice as many have facilities for environ-

mentally safe disposal.

GUARANTEE This product has been manufactured under the strictest of quality control procedures, and us-

ing the highest quality of materials to ensure excellent performance and reliability. Provided

the appliance is properly used and maintained it should give long lasting performance.

This appliance comes with a full 12 months manufacturers guarantee that should the appliance

stop working within that period then the manufacturer will repair or replace that item – pro-

vided that the defect is not found to be a consequence of the product having been misused, i.e.

connected to an incorrect voltage, or used contrary to the instructions, or subject to accidental

damage, neglect or inexpert repair. The guarantee does not cover accidental damage such as if

the appliance is dropped and then stops working.

If the appliance is opened for whatever reason then the guarantee will not be valid.

Your statutory rights are not affected.
