2011-2012 Annual Report on Giving

Fiscal Year July 1, 2011—June 30, 2012

The mission of Guardian Angels Regional School is to nurture, encourage and

educate the mind, body, and spirit of each child to foster spiritual, social and

intellectual growth by providing a quality and challenging academic education

permeated by Gospel values in the Catholic Franciscan tradition.

Giving Levels

Our Guardian Angels Fund was established so that members of our school community, parishioners of St. Clare of Assisi

Parish and the community at large would be encouraged to support our school at varying giving levels. The Giving Levels

established by our Guardian Angels Fund are as follows:

Pax et Bonum Societies

The Franciscan Society $10,000 and above

The Assisi Society $7,500-$9,999

Foundress, Barbara Micarelli Society $5,000-$7,499

Infant Jesus Society $2,500-$4,999

Guardian Angels Society $1,000-$2,499

Principal’s Club $500-$999

Wings Club $250-$499

Blue & White Club $100-$249

Friends of Guardian Angels gifts up to $99

A note from our Principal:

A new school year is upon us here at Guardian Angels Regional School and I am very excited to be writing to you to share the

wonderful news that we have over 280 students from Pre-Kindergarten– 8th Grade who we will be educating this year.

I would also like to take this opportunity to again thank you, our donors, for your generous support to the 2011-2012 Guardian Angels

Fund. With your support and prayers our school raised over $55,000 last year through your donations to our annual fund. Your

generous support has benefited our children directly in the classroom, on the playing field and on the stage.

With the funds raised through last year’s annual fund, we have been able to:

Purchase new tablets for our 7th & 8th graders

Purchase new reading series for our 3rd, 4th and 6th-8th grade classes which not only include new textbooks and

workbooks, but also reading resources and classroom manipulatives, and online interactive resources

Continue professional development workshops for our faculty, as well as increase our teacher aides to help in our classrooms

Purchase new library shelves, tables and chairs for our newly moved library at our Paulsboro campus

Apply mulch and spruce up both of our playgrounds

New tile floors were installed in our 1st and 2nd grade classrooms

We anxiously await the review from

the Middle States organization and

look forward to hearing from them

in the fall.

Our students explored learning in

fun and exciting ways, our athletes

completed with great pride and

sportsmanship and our fine arts

students shared their talents on

the stage when they performed

Beauty and the Beast, Jr. in the

spring. As the school year came to

an end our students said good-bye

for the summer but knew that the

good-bye would not be for long,

knowing that September 2012

would bring new excitement as

they enter our doors to continue

their Catholic education.

The 2011-2012 school year came to a

close on Wednesday, June 20th.

The students were very excited to

begin their summer vacations.

The Class of 2012 graduated on June

14th and began their lives as

upcoming high school freshmen.

We are very proud of them and

their accomplishments and look

forward to watching them grow

through their high school years.

Our students continue to grow in

their love of learning as well as in

the their for God. We are very

excited for what the 2012-2013

school year has to offer us as we

begin this September.
