Welcome! We are proud to bring you the ninth annual
Gingerbread Holiday Concert .
Each year our audience grows as more and more
parents and grandparents bring children to celebrate
the holidays and share a musical afternoon with
friends and fami ly.
Maestro Albert-George Schram, musical director and
conductor, leads this afternoon 's program performed
by our superb Lynn Philharmonia Orchestra. Your
ticket purchase or sponsorship to today's concert
benefits one of the finest conservatories of music
within a university environment. Without your support,
our talented conservatory students, who hail from
around the world and comprise one of the most
internationally diverse student bodies in the country,
would not be able to receive the university's high level
of music performance education .
Today's concert is made possible through the
leadership of Sylvia Oliver, Asa Loof and Deanna
Wheeler. We are grateful to them, and all the Friends
of the Conservatory of Music, for their dedication in
making this event one of Boca Raton 's most beloved
annual holiday traditions.
Thank you for celebrating the holidays with us and for
your support of the Conservatory of Music. From our
Lynn University family to yours, happy holidays!

The Friends of the Conservatory of Music
The Friends of the Conservatory of Music is a volunteer organization formed to
promote high quality performance education for exceptionally talented young
musicians. For some students, meeting the costs associated with a first-rate music
performance education can be highly challenging. This dedicated group provides
financial support for many annual and endowed scholarships. Since its
establishment in 2003, the Friends has raised significant funds through annual gifts
and special events. Today's Gingerbread Holiday Concert is chief among them.
The Lynn University Conservatory of Music One of the leading conservatories within a university environment, the Lynn
Conservatory of Music admits a highly select group of gifted musicians from around
the world to pursue rigorous solo, chamber and orchestral training , as well as a

brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our students, who consistently earn
the highest honors at international competitions and join leading orchestras and
prominent faculties around the globe.

THANK YOU!
We are happy to report that last year's Gingerbread Holiday Concert raised more
than $71 ,000 through table sponsorships, ticket and centerpiece sales.
These funds are vital in providing much-needed scholarships for deserving
conservatory students so that they may offer you, the audience, the high level of
performance that you are enjoying today. The students, faculty and staff extend a
sincere thank you to everyone whose gifts contributed to a record year in 2010.
• Centerpieces are for sale for $25. Please put payment in the
envelope attached to the centerpiece.
• If your table's centerpiece is already purchased, ask the table
next to yours.
• The beautiful, large poinsettias are for sale for only $15.
To purchase, see the staff person in front of the stage at the
end of the concert.
• In the spirit of the giving season, please consider making a tax
deductible donation by using the gift envelope on your table.
Happy Holidays from the Lynn University family to yours!
Sing-A-Long
Let It Snow
Oh the weather outside is frightful ,
But the fire is so delightful,
And since we've no place to go,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
It doesn't show signs of stopping,
And I've bought some corn for popping,
The lights are turned way down low,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
When we final ly kiss goodnight,
How I'll hate going out in the storm!
But if you'll really hold me tight,
All the way home I'll be warm.
The fire is slowly dying,
And, my dear, we 're still good-bying ,
But as long as you love me so,
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!
Jingle Bell Rock Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell, Jingle Bell rock
Jingle Bells swing and Jingle Bells ring
Snowin' and blowin' up bushels of fun
Now the Jingle Hop has begun
Jingle Bell , Jingle Bell , Jingle Bell rock
Jingle Bells chime in Jingle Bell time
Dancin' and prancin' in Jingle Bell Square
in the frosty air
What a bright time, it's the right time
To rock the night away
Jingle Bell time is a swell time
To go glidin' in a one-horse sleigh
Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock
Mix and a-mingle in the jinglin' feet
That's the Jingle Bell,
That's the Jingle Bell ,
That's the Jingle Bell Rock
The Christmas Song Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,
Jack Frost nipping at your nose,
Yuletide carols being sung by a choir,
And folks dressed up like Eskimos.
Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe,
Help to make the season bright.
Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow,
Will find it hard to sleep tonight.
They know that Santa's on his way;
He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh.
And every mother's child is going to spy,
To see if reindeer really know how to fly.
And so I'm offering this simple phrase,
To kids from one to ninety-two,
Although it 's been said many times, many ways,
Merry Christmas to you .
All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth,
my two front teeth , see my two front teeth!
Gee, if I could only have my two front teeth ,
then I could wish you Merry Christmas.
It seems so long since I could say,
Sister Susie sitting on a thistle!
Gosh oh gee, how happy I'd be,
if I could only whistle (thhhh, thhhh)
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth ,
my two front teeth , see my two front teeth.
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth,
then I could wish you Merry Christmas!
Christmas!
I'll Be Home for Christmas I'll be home for Christmas,
You can plan on me.
Please have snow and mistletoe
and presents on the tree
Christmas Eve will find me
Where the love light gleams
I'll be home for Christmas
If only in my dreams
