The 2011 Cruze affirms Chevrolet’s
commitment to build- ing refined, fuel-efficient vehicles, with new, small- displacement four-cylinder engines. The Cruze is expected to deliver segment-leading fuel economy -- up to 40 mpg on the highway. The 2011 Chevy Cruze’s
design is distinguished with a bold face -- including a two-tier grille. An arching roofline connects a steeply raked windshield and fast- sloping rear pillars to give the car a sporty, coupe-like proportion. The sporty aesthetic is
seen in prominent head- lamp housings that wrap around the corners and sweep upward in the fenders and sculpted hood, as well as a short rear deck typically found on sports coupes.
The Chevrolet 2011 Impala family sedan
continues to combine fuel efficiency and fuel options with roominess and popular standard features. The Impala offers a long
list of standard peace-of- mind amenities -- including important safety features -- in a package designed to provide pleasing design and functionality for today’s on- the-go families. Impala is offered in LS, LT and LTZ retail models. For the 2011 model year,
the 3.5L V-6 that is standard on LS and LT models is FlexFuel-capable, able to
operate on gasoline, E85 bioethanol or a combination of the two. Also for 2011, a new
Luxury Package combines a number of popular comfort and convenience items, including a full year of XM Satellite Radio instead of the customary three-month trial, a Bose eight-speaker audio system, front bucket seats with leather appoint- ments, front driver and passenger heated seats and a rear spoiler. Chevy Impala conveys
sophistication and big-car roominess. On the exterior, large headlamps have a
premium appearance with three independent lighting units. These details comple- ment other high-quality attributes, such as tight tolerances of 3.5 mm or less between body components and substantial “grab”-style door handles, to provide an overall feeling of solidity. The Impala LS, LT and
LTZ models have varied exterior trim cues that iden- tify each model including unique 16-, 17- and 18-inch wheel designs. Impala’s V-6 engines are
as fuel-efficient as they are sophisticated. A 3.5L V-6
delivers 211 horsepower. The 3.9L V-6 is standard in LTZ and rated at 224 horsepower.
Cruze’s bold design cues and attention to detail carry over to the interior, where a Corvette-inspired twin- cockpit motif is matched with high-quality materials and exceptional assem- bly tolerances. Grained, soft-touch components and low-gloss trim panels exude a quality that is uncommon in the segment. Cruze’s Ecotec 1.4L
turbo performs like a larger engine when needed, but retains the efficiency of a small-displacement four- cylinder in most driving
conditions. It is standard on Cruze LT and LTZ models, with power ratings estimated at 138 horsepower and 148 lb.-ft. of torque. Standard on LS models is an Ecotec 1.8L four-cylinder engine. Backing the 2011 Cruze’s
new four-cylinder engines are six-speed manual and automatic transmissions. With the Ecotec 1.4L turbo, Cruze’s fuel efficiency enables a cruising range of more than 500 miles so it can go longer between fill-ups.

means the 2011 Lincoln MKX will provide a more connected feel between the driver and the road through responsive acceleration,

Jaguar introduces an all-new XJ sedan range
for 2011, blending the sleek lines of the brand’s new design language with its latest generation engines and chassis systems. Six model variants
include standard and long-wheelbase (XJL) versions, the latter adding an additional 5 inches of rear legroom. The XJ’s interior is the most luxurious ever offered in a Jaguar, blending the latest infotainment technology and a wide choice of leather and wood finishes. The all-new 2011 XJ
is very much a driver’s car, agile and spirited, but without compromise to comfort. The model range includes the XJ with a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8; the XJ Supercharged with a 470-hp supercharged version of the engine, and the limited-production XJ Supersport powered by a
of standard luxury features that add up to even greater value. The enhancements begin
on the outside where the front sports a redesigned appearance that conveys a more aggressive appearance. roof opening mechanism slides the front glass panel upwards and outwards, preserving headroom.

on its haunches, the 2011 Kia Forte five-door carries with it all the amenities of the Forte line and introduces a new front grille, alloy wheels, lower valence design, center console, paddle shifters, push-button start and navigation in addition to the ostensible fifth door for a distinct appearance and intentional practical- ity. The 2011 Forte five-door
is available with two efficient engines -- 2.0-liter or
2.4-liter -- and a new six- speed manual or automatic transmission. “We have been promot-
ing the Kia brand evolution over the past few years and backed it up with dramatic gains in quality and value while adding world-class design every step of the way,” said Michael Sprague, vice president, marketing, KMA. “Kia’s recent launch cycle has now delivered eight new products in less than two years, this aggressiveness is nothing short of amazing and speaks to the growing power of the brand in the U.S. and globally.”
Hyundai’s Genesis Coupe is back for
2011 with interior updates, a revised lineup, and its hottest model ever, the 3.8
For 2011, Genesis Coupe features several interior upgrades. The instrument
panel is crafted in a seamless, soft-touch skin fully encom- passing new dark metalgrain trim. Softer leather now wraps the steering wheel and
padding has been added to the door armrests for increased comfort. The A-pillars are now covered in a premium fabric to match the roof liner. New
information screen graphics enhance appearance and readability and the finish of
the controls has also been enhanced. The 2011 Genesis Coupe
is a RWD sport coupe featuring two engines: a 210-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a range-topping all-aluminum, 306-horsepower, 3.8-liter V6 engine. Both engines are mated
to a standard six-speed manual transmission. The Genesis Coupe 2.0T offers an optional five-speed automatic with Shiftronic while the 3.8-liter V6 offers a ZF six-speed automatic transmission. Genesis Coupe employs
a MacPherson strut dual- link front suspension and a five-link independent rear
suspension setup. To help reduce body roll and tune the Genesis Coupe’s at-the- limit handling for maximum predictability, 24-mm diameter front and 19-mm diameter rear stabilizer bars are used. Brembo four-piston
calipers clamp down on 13.4-inch ventilated front brake rotors and 13-inch ventilated rear rotors on R-Spec and 3.8 Track models. All other models get substantial 12.6-inch front ventilated rotors and 12.4-inch rotors in the rear with floating single-piston calipers.
