“The Bright Lights of Broadway” is theme of half-time showThe 2011 half-time

show for the Ran-burne High School Marching Bulldog Band is entitled “The Bright Lights of Broadway.”

The show this year opens with the famil-iar main theme from “Phantom of the Op-

era”.The band then fea-

tures the danceline with “All That Jazz” from the musical “Chicago.”

Next, the band shows off its’ softer side with “I Dreamed a Dream” from “Les Miserables” featur-

ing a trumpet duet by Kayla Dunson and Lexi Tate.

Finally, the closer begins with the pop-ular hit “On Broad-way” before featur-ing the percussion section.

The main themes of the show all re-

turn for an exciting finish!

The band is under the direction of Jeff Carpenter, and is un-der the field direc-tion of Head Drum Major Katie Wood and Assistant Drum Major Taylor Tate.
