and therefore will accept qualified students state-

wide.

SELECTION APPEAL PROCESS

• A written Statement which clearly and concisely presents your basis of appeal.

• Academic records which were not available at the time of application.

• If you are submitting additional academic records, your Statement should include an explanation of why the additional information was not available at the time of application.

• Official documentation of extenuating circumstances (for example: doctors' records, death certificates, etc.).

COMMON MISTAKES THAT LEAD TO APPEALS

• Missing Advertised Deadlines

• Failure to make up coursework

• Not completing the Intent to Enroll process

• Fall Semester Priority Filing: October 1 – November 30• CSUDH Counselors Day: October 6, 2011• A Day at Dominguez: October 29, 2011• Last Month to Take ACT/SAT: December 2011• Intent to Enroll: May 1, 2012• Document Deadline: July 15, 2012

Early Start Program

Students who are require remediation must begin the process in Summer 2012.

We will notify your students in the spring along with ways to satisfy the requirement.
