Pre-Sessional English

All programmes require students, where English is not their rst language to have achieved an IELTS score of at least 6.5 or equivalent prior to entry.

Coventry University offers a pre-sessional English course for those students with an existing IELTS level of 5.0 to 6.0,depending on the length of the course, to ensure they meet the required level for progress onto academic study at either Coventry or London campus.

The pre-sessional course will help students to:

• Develop their academic English so that they are better prepared to cope with university-level study

• Develop their study skills and understand what is expected of them as a student in the UK higher education system.

How to payFull-time International students (non-EU) studying at

Coventry University are required to pay 66% of the

published tuition fee before enrolment. Students who do

not pay will not be allowed to enrol.

The remaining 34% of tuition fees must be paid 12 weeks

after the course start date.
