The 2011-2012 year has brought us lots of “New”. The Foundation approved new board members, established new funds, hosted new events, created new partnerships and a new award, The Most Valuable Philanthropist. Being involved and seeing new ideas turn into action to build a strong community is a great blessing. It is even more exciting to positively impact our residents and the future of Warrick County by growing our Family of Funds.

All of this work is never one person’s job. Every board member, donor, volunteer, and staff member has made our community a better place to live because of their determination, hard work, and dedication. It is a joy to be a part of something that makes a difference in our community. On behalf of everyone on the Board of Trustees and staff, we thank you for your support and generosity.

Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in Warrick County by helping individuals and organizations build endowments to

achieve philanthropic goals and fund charitable needs.

This year has been an exciting and busy year to serve as President of the Warrick County Community Foundation!

For Warrick County.

Sadly, we lost two Friends of the Foundation this year, past Board Member, Franklin O. Beumer, and Chair of our Community Scholarship Committee, Gary Hutton. Our “For Good. Forever.” Fund is Unrestricted for community grantmaking and will grow with memorial gifts in support of loved ones. On a brighter note, we are happy to be working with our first Strategic Vision Partner, Heritage Federal Credit Union. Their matching gift opportunity has been an incentive for donors to grow their personal funds while supporting the operations and sustainability of the Foundation. It is exciting to work with motivated and enthusiastic leaders to improve our community and living conditions. We strive to grow the Foundation and endowment funds to increase our capacity to serve others. We welcome new Donors, and ask that you get involved in some way to help grow our great community here in Warrick County! Won’t you join our efforts?

A Special Note From the Foundation Director As Director of the Warrick County Community Foundation, I am continually amazed at the generosity of our local friends and neighbors. I find it an honor to work with charitably minded community members. Donor families who live in Warrick County have created funds to support a variety of projects. Middle school students will benefit from the Jann and Ray Allen Boonville Middle School Library Fund, and senior citizens will enjoy the newly constructed Senior Center in Boonville, and will receive annual financial support from The Billy and Beverly Kruse Family Fund.
