Bula Vinaka and welcome to the Fiji 2012 International Jazz & Blues Festival! It is my pleasure to deliver a 2nd festival here in beautiful Fiji and bring to her shores some of the best musicians in the world to perform amazing music under the ‘Jazz and Blues’ umbrella. We have close to 100 musicians from the UK, Australia, New Zealand, USA and Fiji performing here and all of them have been selected because of their musical ability and commitment to give the festival and you their very best performances.

I am particularly proud to have legendary US Jazz singer / performer, and US State Department Jazz Ambassador, Lenora Z Helm perform at this festival with her world class band. I would like to extend a sincere thank you to the Suva based, US Embassy for their support in helping to bring this wonderful Jazz singer to our festival.
