    Hayley Campbell is the daughter ofDavid and Bobbi Campbell of Beallsville.Hayley is graduating with honors, merit

    and as the secretary and treasurer of theNational Honor Society. She has also beenrecognized as a Regional Scholar.Hayleys achievements include being anOVAC Volleyball All-Star, District 12Volleyball All-Star, Times Leader volley-ball team, regional qualifier her sopho-more year in track and field, a two-yearvarsity volleyball captain, a three-year let-terman in volleyball and a four-year letter-

    man in track and field. Hayley is theStudent Council president and treasurer, amember of the Fellowship of ChristianAthletes, a six-year member of DestinationImagination team, and was a BuckeyeGirlsState representative. Hayley plans toattend Wheeling Jesuit University to pur-

    sue a degree in physical therapy.Tyler Spence is the son of Brian Spence

    and Vicki Frye of Jerusalem. Tyler is grad-uating with honors and merit. His achieve-ments include being an honor student, aScholar Athlete, a four-year letterman inbasketball, a three-year letterman in trackand field, a scholar athlete, a member ofthe District 12 All-Star basketball team,the OVAC All-Star basketball team and the

    Gold Scholarship Certificate member.Tyler plans to attend Ohio UniversityEastern.

    Aaron Thompson is the son of Natalie S.Thompson of Alledonia. He is graduatingwith honors, merit and as a member of theNational Honor Society. Aaron has been

    the Academic Team captain, a blood drivevolunteer, an honor roll student, and aBuckeye Boys State representative. Hehas received top of the class awards in pre-calculus and chemistry, and was secondteam All OVAC in football. Aaron plans toattend Xavier University to study businessadministration.

    Graduation ceremonies will begin withthe Beallsville High School Band, under

    the direction of Doug Maschue, playingthe traditional Pomp and Circumstance.Class President Bryant Arnold will offerthe opening and welcome guests.Following the addresses by the valedicto-rians and salutatorian, several scholarshipswill be awarded. Principal Micah Fuchs

    will present the class for graduation. EdCarleton and Janelle Comstock, membersof the Switzerland of Ohio Local SchoolDistrict Board of Education, will awardthe diplomas. After presentation of thediplomas and singing of the Alma Mater,student council member Hayley Campbellwill share her closing remarks and theband will play the Recessional as the grad-uates bid farewell to BHS.

    The River High School Class of 2012will hold its graduation ceremony onSaturday, May 19, 2012 at Flannery Fieldat 7 p.m. In case of rain, the ceremony willbe held in the R.L. Potts Gymnasium. Theclass cordially invites parents, grandpar-ents, family members and friends to cele-brate this joyous occasion with them.

    The valedictorian of the Class of 2012 isRenae Alaine Riley. She is the daughter of

    olla and Kevin Riley of Powhatan Point.She is a four-year Kiwanis Scholar, mem-ber of the National Honor Society and afour-year OVAC varsity board member.Renae is a member of the FirstPresbyterian Church of Powhatan Point.She plans to attend The Ohio State

    niversity to pursue a major in medicaldietetics.

    The vocational valedictorian is LoganSpencer Postle of Brownsville. Logan isthe son of Brad and Amy Postle. His activ-ities include football and track, member ofthe Vocational-Technical Honor Societyand a member of 4-H. Logan is a memberof the Unity Baptist Church of Antioch.His future plans include a career in weld-ng.

    serve as salutatorian for the Class of 2012.Brandon is the son of Kimberly Kraushaarand Stephen Price. He is a four-yearKiwanis Scholar, member of the NationalHonor Society and East Ohio BaseballLeague All-Star. Brandon plans to attendWest Liberty University to pursue a majorin music education.

    Emily Grace Dierkes, daughter ofTabitha and Kelly Dierkes of Woodsfield,will offer the invocation. Emily is a four-year letterman in cross country and track,three-year letterman in basketball andprom queen 2012. She is a member of theDuffy Church of Christ. Emily plans toattend Ohio University in Athens to pursuea major in sports management.

    Staci Michelle Indermuhle, daughter ofAllen and Janet Indermuhle of Sardis, willwelcome guests to the graduation. Staci isthe president of the National HonorSociety, attended Ohio University via postsecondary option for two years and is grad-uating with honors. She is a member of theApostolic Christian Church of Sardis. Staciplans to attend either The Ohio State

    Shannon Noelle Leasure will introducethe special guests at Rivers graduationceremony. She is the daughter of Ann-Marie Leasure, and Casey and MichelleLeasure. Shannon was a member of the

    Ski Club and placed in the Voice ofDemocracy Essay contest. Shannonsfuture plans are undecided.

    The class president, Mark Petho, son ofSteve and Pauletta Petho of PowhatanPoint, will lead in the turning of the tas-sels. Mark is the Americanism award win-ner 2010 and 2011, participant in the WestLiberty Civics Challenge and Top of Class

    in technical drafting. He is a member ofthe St. John Vianney Catholic Church inPowhatan Point.

    Mariah Dawn Indermuhle will providethe benediction. Mariah is the daughter ofEric and Lisa Indermuhle of Sardis. Shewas a PVC Academic Achiever, OVAC

    Academic Award Winner and honor rollrecipient. Mariah attends the ApostolicChristian Church in Sardis. She plans toattend the University of Akron to pursue amajor in nursing.

    Dr. Vincent Monseau, principal of RiverHigh School, will present the class. Boardmembers Ron Winkler and Rob Caldwellwill award the diplomas.
