2012 Indo Pacific Trampoline Championships...

Owen has just finished Competing in the 2012 Indo Pacific Trampoline Championships where he has done our club and Australia very proud coming home with 3 medals after a strong week of competition.

First up was the Men’s 17+ Individual Trampoline for which he qualified 3rd into the finals, he followed that through with a Bronze medal on day two of the competition.

Second event for Owen was the Men’s 17+ Double Mini and again after a strong lead in the first round Qualifying 3rd into the finals, he has made Heidi proud winning Silver and being the strongest Australian competitor on the day.

Final event was the Men’s 17+ Synchronised Trampoline with partner Michael finished with a Bronze wrapping up an outstanding week of competition.

State Championships At this years NSW State Level Championships our little club placed 1st in Double Mini and 2nd in Trampoline making us the 2012 overall club champions, congratulations once again to all our athletes and their fantastic achievements. If you missed our State Edition News letter you can find it on-line in our Members Section of the website. Photos from the event are also available in our Photo Section (day 2 photos still to some) and podium shots in the Results Section.

Trampoline NewsRSL State ChampionshipsThis years RSL State will be held at CCYC in Gosford on the 11th November all member must be there for warm ups at 8:15am. Tracksuits are required, if you have a new tracksuit they will be given to the gymnasts during the week. Polo's will be provided on the day for all gymnasts and must be returned by the end of the days events. Good Luck to all athletes. Warm ups start at 8:15amMarch in 9:15amEvent Starts at 9:30am(We expect the day to end by 4pm)The club is hiring a bus again this year please see the front counter from Monday.

General Reminder

Please note that the week after RSL State November 12th-16th Heidi and Norm will be taking a much deserved holiday and trampoline division will be taking a break for that week only, we will see you all the following week.

GG and Wag NewsGeneral Reminder

Norm will be taking a much deserved holiday during November 12th-16th

so there will be no trampoline during this week. Please remember your socks for GG lessons as they are a safety requirement for the

trampoline.

Fundraising NewsWe are selling Cards for this terms fundraising towards the cost of Presentation day, there are a range of cards available from Birthday to Xmas cards all beautifully detailed and hand crafted. They are $27 a box if you wish to purchase or can sell a few boxes see the front counter for an order form (see last page of this newsletter for more details).

Uniform NewsWe have recalled ALL shirts and singlets due to dissatisfaction with the quality, please return the old shirts to the front counter as soon as possible so that we can return them, new shirts have been ordered but will not be available for RSL we are taking the shirts up for the weekend for all to wear but they must be returned after the days events have finished, again I think you for your patients in this matter

Presentation DayEvery year our club holds a presentation day this year it will be on the 2nd December 2012 and will run from 10am till 3pm the day is full of entertainment for the kid and awards for the gymnasts. Family members are welcome, lunch is provided for all but most importantly a change of clothes is a must as kids tend to get a little wet.....
