2012 WDSF European DanceSport Championship Latin
LIVE FROM CAMBRILS, ESP www.worlddancesport.org A WDSF Communications team reports through its “Live from Cambrils” blog from the 2012 WDSF European DanceSport Championship Latin from 6 to 8 April. Video streams and in-depth reporting on everything that goes on in and around the Sports Hall allow visitors to the blog and the worldwide audience on YouTube to keep up with the competition and the 60+ couples.
Who will succeed Zoran Plohl and Tatsiana Lahvinovich as European Latin Champions? Quite a few names come to mind: Zaytsev – Kuzminskaya, RUS; Zanibellato – Abildtrup, DEN; Langella – Moshenska, ITA; Goffredo – Matus, MDA …
If one goes by the WDSF GrandSlam Latin legs held over the past months – in Antwerp, BEL, Copenhagen, DEN, and Tokyo, JPN – the four couples would have to be considered odds-on favourites. But with even more top couples matching up at regular intervals in the 2012 GrandSlam Series, the field of contenders for the title appears to get bigger every time, and the point margins separating one finalist from another are very, very, narrow by now.
