Lexus has brilliantly combined an exterior of raving dynamism with an opulently comfortable

interior to create a brand new automotive concept of ‘raving luxury’ found only on the

premium urban SUV – Lexus RX. Now drivers and passengers can enjoy an entirely new level

of carefree pleasure and comfort on the road.

Widely hailed by critics and auto enthusiasts alike since its launch, the all new RX series

comprises a host of superb models, including: RX270, RX350 and RX450h. The aggressive

front grille design of the initially launched F-Sport version reflects many of the dynamic

elements of the RX F-Sport series in terms of its overall exterior and interior styling.

Today, Crown Motors Limited hosted “The All New Lexus RX Launch Ceremony” at Ocean

Terminal, Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui, attracting scores of media and VIP guests. Mr.

Cedric So, Managing Director of Crown Motors Ltd. gave the opening speech and joined the

other guests in warmly welcoming Mr. Takayuki Katsuda, Chief Engineer of Lexus RX, who

flew in from Japan to attend the ceremony. Together they led a grand unveiling ceremony and

shared with special VIP guests Mr. Kenny Wong and Miss Nancy Wu their great pride in the

success of this new Lexus RX series. Before the close of the official launch ceremony all the

VIPs offered a toast to Lexus and wished the company continued sales success.

The all new Lexus RX possesses a uniquely dynamic personality with its strong and expressive

front grille design highlighted by Lexus family signature ‘spindle grille’. Jewel-like headlights

also enhance vision while arrowhead-shaped LED daytime running lights add a touch of

exquisite glamour. The all-new Lexus RX as well offers a meticulous overall design with a

streamlined body that punctuates this SUV’s unmistakably distinctive look.

The all-new Lexus RX surrounds driver and passengers in exceptional world-class comfort

and opulence with a luxuriously crafted interior cabin born from a synergy of innovation and

technology. Stylish amenities include a Multi-media Display* that provides important,

easy-to-read information like climate control, navigation, rear parking and more with crystal

clarity. In addition, the Second Generation Lexus Remote Touch enhances user friendliness

and ease of operation. By linking together Bluetooth technology with the multi-purpose

Head-up Display for navigation, speed, audio streaming and climate control, the all-new Lexus

RX ultimately gives you the most technologically advanced system to ensure a smooth and

safe journey.

This gem of automotive engineering also excites your sense of style with a new tasteful centre

console redesigned for greater ease of operation. The centre console box makes the storing

of items easier while enhancing overall practicality. A newly crafted dynamic steering wheel as

well has been added, underscoring the unique nature of the revered Lexus image.

The all new RX270 is equipped with a 2.7-litre L4 engine and 6-speed Super Electronic

Control Transmission (ECT) while the all new RX350 has adopted a 3.5-litre V6 engine and

6-speed Super Electronic Control Transmission (ECT).

RX450h is powered by Lexus Hybrid Drive that combines a 3.5-litre V6 engine with electric

motors. RX450h delivers a maximum output of 299PS while achieving a class-leading fuel

consumption of 15.6km/L and ultra low emissions. In addition, the new Sport mode is tuned to

deliver greater electric motor power, enhancing the throttle and electric power steering (EPS)

settings to provide a faster response for driver input. It is also equipped with advanced

performance dampers in the front and rear end, which further contributes toward unmatched

comfort for drivers and passengers as well as achieving dynamic driving performance.

The optitron meter display changes appearance in different driving modes. EV Mode, Eco

Mode and Normal Mode are bathed in a gentle blue while the display changes to a raving red

when switched to Sport Mode, creating a more dramatic visual effect.

The all new RX is primarily an echo of the unique overall charisma of F-Sport. It is beautifully

streamlined with a smooth underbody and features a new Lexus signature spindle grille.

while the infinity concept is beautifully enhanced by 19” F-Sport dark gray aluminum wheels.
