• TFM is the product of ordinary PTFE and a 1% fraction of Perfluoropropyl Vinyl Ether (PPVE).
• TFM includes the advantages of ordinary PTFE (� excellent chemical
resistance, applicable in a wide temperature range, low embrittlement and therefore low ageing) and the benefit of the additional PPVE which leads to a substantially improved allocation of the PTFE molecules and to a overall more dense polymer structure.

The advantages of TFM can be measured by the reliability of the systemand the enhanced life time of the valve. The smooth surface of the TMF evokes just a small abrasion of the liner and therefore less TFM/PTFE particles in the medium. Simultaneously the shutdown times and themaintenance costs will be reduced while the operation reliabilitygrows.
