CAN YOU ADOPT-A-BILL? – If you can, please ‘Adopt a Bill’. Select an invoice and envelope from

the board, make your check payable to OSLC, put it and the invoice in the envelope and place in the

offering plate or drop off at the office. So far, you have donated an additional $4,019.90 this year (this

amount is NOT included in the Unified Budget information provided in the bulletin every week).

WHAT DO YOU BELIEVE? – Join our new ‘Basic Beliefs for Adult Lutheran Christians’ classes on

Sunday mornings (formerly known as ‘Adult Confirmation Class’). Members and non-members are

welcome to attend any and all classes. Today’s class (Oct 7) meets at 8am; next week’s class (Oct 14)

meets at 9:15am. Call the office at 468-4065 if you have any questions.

DON’T THROW IT AWAY! – We are collecting used cell phones, empty pill bottles, aluminum cans,

beads, and mfr’s coupons as well as batting and knitting/sewing materials, Box Tops for Education,

Labels for Education, Capri Sun pouches, specially marked milk caps, and Coke codes. We also collect

non-perishable food for Manna for Life (please no bread, potatoes, etc.). For info, call 468-4065.

SUNDAY SCRIP – Every purchase is a small donation. Buy Sunday mornings at the Welcome Center

or the church office (from 8am-11:45am and 1pm-4:15pm Monday thru Friday). Groceries? Gas? Going

out to eat? Gift giving? Taking a trip? Give to church without changing your budget. To learn more, stop

by the Welcome Center today or come to the office during regular business hours. If you have a child at

Green Bay Trinity, OSL Preschool or in the youth group, ask about our ‘tuition reimbursement’ program.

LAMBEAU FIELD AND PACKER GAMES – Our Saviour needs 21 volunteers (18 or older) to work

each home Packer game this season; the next home games are October 28 and November 4. Please

contact Neil Burmeister at 866-9088 or call the church office (468-4065) for more info. Our booth is

indoors (Section 427 club seats). Sign-up sheets are at the Welcome Center; sign up now for any game.

FOR YOU – The new October-December issue of the Portals of Prayer is now available in the Narthex.

One large print version is available in the office. Copies of the September Council minutes and the

October issue of The Voice Online are at the Welcome Center.

LWML SUNDAY TODAY – Please talk to one of our current members to find out how to join this

great group! And make sure to stop by the coffee bar for treats provided by the LWML Society. Mite

Box monies can be placed in the BIG jar! New Mite boxes to take home can be found there, too!

WE SCORED AND WON! – Thank you for all the support you showed for the Trinity fundraiser

‘SCORE’ at Pizza Ranch! We raised about $500 in tips, and over $300 in the "% from the bills".

That, along with our Walk-a-Thon will bring our fundraising efforts to just over $1,000! With Thrivent’s

supplemental funds, our total for the scoreboards and basketball uniforms is over $2,000! We could not

have been here for 10 years if it wasn't for our great congregations and all their support!
