Here are some Frequently Asked Questions when purchasing an Automower®.

Are they difficult to install?Not at all - you can easily do the installation yourself. It takes roughly two to five hours, depending on the size and shape of your lawn.

How much noise do they make?Automower® is very quiet and will not disturb your neighbours, even at night. The noise level is very low, 64 dB(A), compared to 95-100 dB(A) for an average conventional mower.

Can Automower® handle uneven or sloping lawns?Yes. They can handle inclines of up to 35% and uneven lawns, thanks to their large driving wheels - following slopes without scalping “hilltops” the way many conventional mowers do.

How often do I need to charge Automower®? Thanks to the built in technology, when it’s time to recharge the battery, Automower® automatically returns to its charging station, leaving you free to enjoy your beautifully cut lawn.

How environmentally friendly are they?Since Automower® runs on batteries, it doesn’t produce any emissions. Its electricity consumption is very low, approx 100-200 kWh per year, depending on the size of the lawn.

Why choose a rider?If your garden consists of several bushes, obstacles and garden beds, a rider is the perfect choice. Thanks to the articulated steering principal of the front-mounted cutting deck, the machine is extremely manoeuvrable in the garden and fun to drive.

Why choose a Zero Turn mower?A ZTH mower is best used in large open spaces, and is characterised by having a turning radius of 360 degrees. It can be driven at a fast speed, which offers a high productivity when cutting larger areas, and has grass collectors available as an optional accessory.

Is a tractor suitable for a medium size garden with narrow passages?Yes, the LTH19530 garden tractor offers a cutting width of 77cm and features all the ergonomic features and advantages of a larger-sized tractor. These machines makes sure you save time mowing, as well as adding in comfort and pleasure to your garden task.

Articulated Steering Husqvarna's unique articulated steering system allows the rear pair of wheels to swing underneath the machine. The result is superior manoeuvrability with a minimum turning radius at full lock.

Central cutting height adjustment All controls are easily accessible from the operators seat. With a lever on the control panel it is possible to adjust the cutting height even when mowing.

Hydraulic equipment lift Controls front-mounted equipment quickly and with high precision. Managed by an easy reach joy-stick placed on the control panel beside the operators seat. Maintenance position (cutting deck) Without tools, you can quickly lift the cutting deck in to the maintenance position for convenient cleaning and service.

Adjustable, sliding seat Ergonomic seat that can be adjusted while seated. The seat moves forward and back.

Air Induction™ A powerful air stream lifts the grass before it is cut, for excellent cutting and collection of both grass and leaves.

Anti-scalp wheels & front roller The anti-scalp wheels and front roller help to reduce the risk of scalping when cutting uneven lawns.

Automatic differential lock For improved traction and performance in a wider range of mowing applications.

Cruise Control A convenient, efficient function that ensures the tractor keeps an even speed, even if the lawn is undulating or sloping.

Deck wash port Facilitates cleaning of the cutting deck. Attach the hose, turn on the water and start the engine for a superior clean.

Deflector The GT, YT and LT tractors have side-ejection deflectors fitted as standard equipment. The CT tractors can be converted to rear-ejection with the deflector accessory.

Electric blade engagement Easy engagement of the cutting blades, simply pull the switch on the control panel.

Fender-mounted cutting height adjustment Easy, accessible cutting height adjustment for improved ergonomics. The spring-assisted cutting deck makes adjustment easier.

Fuel level window The fuel level window lets you monitor the remaining fuel at a glance.

Hour meter with service minder Indicates when it's time to service your tractor.

Hydrostatic transmission Optimises speed and provides excellent driving comfort. On some models, the speed and direction are controlled with a lever on the fender, while others feature foot-pedal operation with separate pedal for forward and reverse.

Large, turf saver tyres Improved traction and less risk of damaging delicate ground.

Collection systems Optional, high performance collection systems available to suit all models. Combi Deck - Zero Discharge™ The combi deck gives arguably the market's best cutting results, thanks to the mulching function where the grass is cut into small pieces that quickly decompose and return to the lawn as fertiliser. The removable plug allows it to be transformed into a high efficient rear-discharge deck for total versatility. Control layout The control layout is simple and designed for ease of use and comfortable operation. Controls are easily accessible from the drivers seat.

Ergonomic steering levers Ergonomic, padded, adjustable twin lever handles reduce operator fatigue by creating the correct alignment of wrists and elbows.

Foldable ROPS The foldable Roll-Over-Protection-System (ROPS) increases operator protection for normal conditions, with the added convenience of folding to 90 degrees for use in areas with low hanging tree limbs and ease of operation.

Heavy-duty filters Selected models feature a heavy-duty twin cartridge air filtration system, which ensures longer service intervals and excellent motor protection compared to standard air filters.

Mulching kits For added versatility, optional mulching kits are available for side-discharge decks. The mulch kits allow for the deck to be converted to effective zero-discharge mulching decks. On-the-go tracking Selected models feature an ‘on-the-go’ tracking adjustment conveniently located near the drivers seat and allows fine tuning of straight line tracking. Simply adjust the tracking knob while you mow!
