CHILDREN’S FUND

The David Ortiz Children's Fund (DOCF) is committed to helping children in New England and the Dominican

Republic that do not have access to the critical pediatric services they need. The DOCF is proud to partner

with Massachusetts General Hospital to fulfill its mission in New England and with the World Pediatric Project

and Heart Care Dominicana to provide pediatric services in the Dominican Republic. These organizations are

committed to healing as many children as possible by providing critical pediatric healthcare. Working

together, these organizations are increasing the number of children that will receive lifesaving services.

HOW DOES THE DAVID ORTIZ CELEBRITY CLASSIC HELP? The David Ortiz Celebrity Classic is the DOCF’s signature event and raises funds through the online and silent

auctions, pairings parties and generous donations from participants. In its first five years, the Classic has netted

approximately $1.5 million and has helped save hundreds of lives in New England and the Dominican

Republic.

• Welcome Reception: An introduction to the sights, sounds, and tastes of the Caribbean. Guests

and celebrities will come together under the stars to celebrate the start of an unforgettable weekend

– Dominican Style!

Friday

• Scheduled Practice Rounds (golfers only)

• Media Day

• Pairings Party and Celebrity Auction: Guests will be treated to an amazing dining experience

at Eden Roc, surrounded by breathtaking views of the Caribbean. The excitement builds as we raise

more funds for the children during our Celebrity Auction Draft where golfers will be paired with their

celebrity captains to form a team for the David Ortiz Celebrity Golf Classic on Saturday.

• 6th Annual David Ortiz Celebrity Golf Classic: Paired with your celebrity captain, enjoy an

exciting day of golf on the best course in the Caribbean and first of three Jack Nicklaus Signature

Golf Courses in Cap Cana.

• Awards Gala & Silent Auction: Everyone will share memories and bid final farewells over dinner

and drinks. Prizes will be awarded to the top finishing teams, and a silent auction will feature many

great collectibles and priceless experiences with proceeds benefiting the David Ortiz Children’s Fund.
