Secretary of the Board

Motivation statement So why do I pretend to be a Secretary of the Board of EYP-Ukraine? Of course I have some personal reasons and social reasons as well. Firstly, I would like to say that now EYP means for me a lot, it gave me a lot; it has changed my life in a better way. I can’t stop wondering how people in EYP can be so thankful to each other, so light-hearted and so sharp at the same time! They compose a kind of multicolor puzzle that comprises all known good human qualities. Once tried to be a delegate I understood that at the session I got everything that I needed so much, that has even changed me as personality, of course positively. To become a Secretary means for me – to never be separate from EYP, at least during next year, to keep the track of all the events. You can think that I am an EYP-addicted, and I will answer – “Yes, I am”. But I don’t find being addicted to friendship, travelling and self-development etc like something bad. Secondly, I find this position as the possibility to bring a breath of fresh air in the Board. That may sound pathetic, but I really want to develop EYP- Ukraine with some new ideas, I want to show other national committees how innovative we can be. I want to encourage people to join us – to make them realize how huge opportunity and experience EYP means. Finally, I want to help that brave people to make their dreams real, to be a part of the initiative team – the Board.

Programme statement

To help the President and the Members of the Board as a Secretary will be a great pleasure for me. I like to be useful, to be necessary. I will be satisfied of the fact that with small things I will make the Board work harmoniously. I will assist members of the Board; they will always know the last news or changes in EYP-life. We will cooperate as the unified organism. Unfortunately, maybe I am not so experienced at Board work, as other candidates, but I learn

fast. I want to join the generating team. We will brainstorm, create something new, develop and show EYP-Ukraine as a worthy democratic organization, to make it known among the youth of Ukraine.

Your personal provisional contribution to EYP Ukraine Sometimes I can be lazy, but not in the case with EYP! On the contrary, it makes me inspired; it makes me want to do something, especially as the person who learns politic science. My objective is to change the world, and I find EYP as a strong push towards such an enormous aim. I believe that by making people think about the most important problems, together, we will make our existence much more valuable. Now I have an idea with popularizing French-speaking part of EYP. We will start with EYP-weekend. Then we will try to make French regional session real, and that’s not a dream – that is just an idea needed to be developed. So in the future I think we will have more fresh ideas that will help us to be modern and creative. We will establish new traditions and will keep in mind all the things have been accrued during all the past years.
