OKALOOSA COUNTY TAX COLLECTOR RECOGNIZED WITH STATE FINANCE AWARD The Okaloosa County Tax Collector’s Office was one of only four Offices in the state recognized by the Florida Tax Collector’s Association with the 2013 Award of Excellence in Finance. The Award was based on four areas of competency: Innovation and Automation Annual Audit Report free of any findings Customer Focus—both internal and external customers Budgeting expertise The Tax Collector’s Finance Office also received a Certificate of Merit for an audit clear of any findings.
